Broadcast Apple Watch/Airpods heart rate to Bluetooth

Does what it says on the box. Shame on Apple for not doing this automatically. If you’ve ever tried to use your Apple Watch HR with peloton/wahoo/stair machine, you know my pain. Thanks to the authors of this free app for making it work.

Broken with recent update

Most recent update broke the app. No longer able to start a workout. Please fix asap.

Plays with others

I appreciate being able to listen to audible, see my cycle stats on Strava and my heart rate on my phone without tech glitches.

Works with Garmin Edge 540

I spent a bit of time tinkering with this and essentially this app does exactly as described and doesn’t require you to repair the sensor for Garmin.

After setting everything up, linking the Garmin with your iPhone ensure your wifi auto upload, disable Connected Features -> Phone (it hogs the Bluetooth). Then set up and pair HeartCast directly to your Edge following the in-app instructions and you’re good to go.

Love this app. used it for many workouts already, everything syncs just fine.
