Latest update broken
This app used to be OK if you allowed the app to tap without the phone being unlocked. The new update doesn’t work at all unless the app is in the foreground and the phone unlocked. It’s become useless. Please fix it!
Inconvenient
I agree with other reviewers. Switched from android to iPhone and now it wants to do Apple Pay every time I use it. With android I did not have to open the app but with iPhone the app has to be open. Just not convenient. This needs to be fixed and I can certainly revise my review then.

The update launched 6/29/26 is causing the app to use 24% of my battery. Please investigate and fix this issue.
No need for always on location
Should be no need for the app to always have location services on.
I wouldn’t recommend to enemies, let alone friends
Nothing like frantically wiggling your phone around for a minute when trying to just get it to unlock a door. Then when that fails, restarting the app AND getting notified that you’ve restarted the app.
The app constantly asks for feedback, so here it is: if my job didn’t require I have it, I wouldn’t. I’d take a physical card again over this wretched app.

Very poor
I only use this app because I have to. It has one job and does it very poorly. Almost always need to open it to tap a reader, and it constantly asks for location access despite pressing cancel over and over again. Very poor.

Always mode never works properly
For some time now, always mode on the app fails and you not only need to open the app, you need to set it to unlocked or foreground, close it, reopen it and then set it back to always for it to start working again.. they need to fix what is going on here
Get anything else
This is the worst app. Constantly having to log out, log back in, delete app and re-download and re-login, and then it only lasts for a month or 2 until you have to do it all over again. You can literally get anything else that works better than this.
Works sometimes
It’s always an adventure when trying to use this app. Sometimes it works as it’s supposed to and sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled number of times. Sometimes turning off Bluetooth and turning it back on works, but not always. Great idea, marginal execution.

My work requires me to use this and I don’t see the convenience in it. Because of whatever Bluetooth functionality it works through, iPhones assume you are trying to use Apple Pay unless you have the app open and ready. It’s necessary to have the app open in order for it to work, and even then it sometimes takes several tries. Going through multiple locked doors on the way to my workspace would be much quicker and easier if I had a physical badge.

Inconsistent app
Mobile ID is very inconsistent almost all the time Twist and Go fails. When you get up to the reader, you have to read it four or five times before you can never get in.

The readers in the building seem to brick themselves.
The app barely works and doesn’t always open doors reliably.
The NFC functionality opens Apple Wallet for some reason.
The Apple Wallet integration is a lie - I see no such option in my app.
Ultimately turns something simple like opening a door in to a big deal that is over complicated.
For your own sake do not implement this system into your organisation. You are in for a world of pain if you do.

How can this app have over 4 stars? Someone is lying. Because of the trouble with using this app, I would suggest people go with a different security platform. PERIOD.
