Very easy and simple payment
Can’t even access it
I’m trying to sign in for the first time. After connecting through my email, it asks to create a pin and no meter what i put in, it says “There’s is a problem with the service. Try again later”. Tried later a couple times, still not working.
I am deleting this app, every update causes sign in issues
I’m giving up with this app, you are forced to update it and then sign in and Face ID don’t work. Same on iPad and iPhone.

Very poor
Impossible to check or correct anything. Years of history missing or inaccurate. No way to contact or engage with HMRC. Just an over-elaborate payment system.

According to the blurb you can sign in with Face ID, well you can’t the app seems to have reset itself and now I can’t access it with Face ID despite me doing it and getting the tick, nothing then happens. Very frustrating.
More Difficult Than It Should Be
This process was really hard! I was going round in circles trying to get the correct Govt Gateway User ID & password to take me to the next stage. There should have been password prompts. I was getting anxious I would use up my 5 attempts & get locked out. Each time I try & log in there’s a problem. Then it said I was using a different browser. That’s news to me! The process needs to be simpler, I know it needs to be secure but this is very frustrating & offputting to the user.

The merry go round of apps round and round in circles I’m sure it’s made difficult so you just give up before you end up topping yourself so thy can fine you as a revenue stream

Sometimes payments will not go through. Have to try several times.
Bank payments
Tried for 3 days before the bank payment would work
Updates and constant resets
Not a good app - every update requires me to re-login and reset pin then re-enable Face ID. Does not give any notification if payment is overdue and you might end up getting fined because of this.
Accessibility
Very easy to use. The response from HMRC was timely.
I don’t understand this self assessment
So confused. I can’t understand why I owe £550 more than on my return. That means you want £300 per month. I get £1500 from pensions. How am I supposed to live?
Easy way to check my pay and tax details
Great app. It makes it so easy to access all my tax information in one place and lets me track exactly how much I earn every month. Highly recommend!

sort it out guys, constantly asking for pin update each time you login, you then switch on face id only to be confronted with login details required every subsequent login
