Don’t fall for the hype
First off, 1 GB hotspot cap rule, buried in the small print. Second, the roaming partners aggressively blacklist high bandwidth activities by choking out. Third, the connection’s not exactly flawless. The SIM was supplied by an Airbnb host. I would not buy it and nor would I recommend.

Vc contrata os dias específicos, aí no manual informa para configurar antecipado e que só será cobrado assim que habilitar os dados roaming. Mentira!assim que vc configura antecipadamente já começa a contar dos dias mesmo que não esteja na data que solicitou. Há, e não funciona!
Wtf?
1 click installation of eSIM is a joke. When you need data it’s gone and when you don’t it shows up. So in emergency how do you even use data.
Rubbish support
My friend had issues with his whilst travelling in Argentina, he was walked through different technical options but despite this had no success. He then asked the same person for a refund that had been helping him who then proceeded to ask why. (Was Emma in the room!?) then he had to be put through to a technical team, this whole process took 45 minutes. Fast purchasing, slow painful support.

No help whatsoever. Takes your money and e-sim failed twice to install, second time sending me no info regarding my sim. Avoid.
Amazing option for unlimited data!!!
Just used Holafly for my data needs while on a trip to Paris, France. Had no issues purchasing, setting up, and using my eSIM. Best part? The price of $3.90/day was far better than my domestic carrier’s travel plan of $12.99/day! Keep it up Holafly!!!!

The Worst.
If you’re going to Canada and plan on using Holafly, just don’t. Was charged $67 for 11 days of unlimited usage but the service was absolutely unusable. No connection whatsoever most days and the days we were able to get a connection, the download speeds were abysmally slow. Like dial-up modem in 1996 slow. Their clearly AI-first customer service was pretty useless. Tried all their solutions and none of it worked. Basically whoever they use as their supplier in Canada is straight garbage. I noticed it would flick between BELL and TELUS with the same results so perhaps the issue is with Holafly themselves. Regardless of the issue, we paid $67 for basically next to no service.
It was so bad that I switched to a competitor mid-trip. And guess what, the competitor’s service was totally fine. So whatever the issue was, it was a them-thing, not a me-thing.
To make matters worse, when I applied for a refund, they somehow arrived at $14 as the total refund. According to their own records, I had used 2.26GB of data which means that for those 2GB I ended up paying an eye-watering $26 per gigabyte! Whatever you do, just steer clear of this company!

Stopped working
I had bought an eSIM for Switzerland for 3 days, it was working fine for the first 2 days before just immediately stopped mobile data usage. Therefore I couldn’t get to any tourist destinations on my last day.
There’s better for Bali
Hard to install and set up.
