No button on unit
Want to delay start? Then you have to use the complex app. No button anymore for delay start, no way to configure any existing optional buttons to delay start. I always forget to open the app. I’m on my phone too much already. I hate this app and this dishwasher. Overcomplicated what was simple.

The programming should be easier to get to for setting the different cycles
App still will not allow connection to Bosch fridge.
It was connected in the past but it stopped working and even with the last few updates it still doesn’t connect.
We contacted bosch and were told the same issue is common with Bell Internet connections.

The dishwasher control feature is a handy nightly routine now. It is such a convenient feature. We absolutely love it!!!

F’in broken app. Cant connect to dishwasher. Stupid stupid stupid. F’in ice maker in my overpriced f’in Bosch fridge also f’in broke. Avoid this app, avoid Bosch.
Excellent app with one suggestion
The app is really nice. It works well and is solid. One missing feature is ability to reduce the volume of the door close alert. It’s off brand to have such a loud alert. Bosch should=quiet!
Poorly supported barely working
Temperamental app, works “when it feels like” and most times it doesn’t. No connection, not connected, no communication with dishwasher. If this were funny, it’d be very but it’s just mediocre or worse. Not even worth a smirk.
Tell Me It Ain’t So
Clunky. Not intuitive. Cumbersome. Not well tested so it doesn’t always work. Who decided an app was better than direct control???
Advanced power control
This used to work great but now for some reason, the four boxes that I could check on or check off have all disappeared and now it just says front, back and custom. I can’t click off any of them from being highlighted. This just started happening and it has worked in the past. I have a Bosch 800 series dishwasher.

Absolute garbage
We bought a Thermador refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave and range. After THREE DAYS of trying to get this app to connect to our appliances, we only got the refrigerator to eventually connect. All of the other appliances time out or give an error message. The UI is useless, the connection process is so laborious that it’s maddening, and there’s little help from their online tutorial.
We’ve set up multiple appliances from other manufacturers, this app is by far the worst. If I could give it zero stars I would. F minus.

Update sucked
I loved this for controlling the Dishwasher but after the update I can no longer control the separate zones, they need to fix that
Hard to set up
Nearly impossible to connect to wifi. QR codes that don't work, instructions that don't match the appliance display. This is one of the worst set-ups I've encountered. If your marathon struggles finally succeed, the the app function is OK.
ignores mode changes without warning to stop current program
Specifically for Thermadore oven controller: Forced timers with no "just turn on" option (1-minute default is useless). Switching from Proof to Bake silently fails—no error message, no explanation. App doesn't tell you to stop the current mode first; it just ignores your input.
Great Dishwasher
So we’ve had a 300 Series unit for about a week. It’s super quiet, even though it’s supposedly less quiet than the 400 and 500 models. It does a great job cleaning the dishes and I can program custom cycles using the app. I chose the 300 because it was several hundred dollars cheaper than the other models. My only criticism is the size of the cutlery basket. There is a special tray that can be used for cutlery, but I generally use that one for larger implements like whisks or ladles or small china or glass items, so the basket gets pretty full.

Recent update moved dishwasher PowerControl custom configuration, which can change with each load, from the current program settings to hidden 5(?) menus deep in the dishwasher settings. Hire a UX designer!!

Overkill
In order to delay start the dishwasher now the only option is to do this through the app. I think it’s great that you can set this specific time schedule in the app and all sorts of presets and favorites and what not but please bring the button back to the control panel on the dishwasher itself. It is super annoying if I’m loading up my dishwasher to then also look for my phone and order to stop the delay start function. Other than that it seems to work reliably.

New Bosch Dishwasher
Dishwasher works great, app won’t connect as I suspected it would happen.
Disappointed
I have an 800 series dishwasher, which performs well, but some of the advertised features are only available in the app, such as the power wash zones. Unfortunately, this feature has been broken since an update in June, effectively rendering it useless. I could have saved money and bought a less expensive dishwasher that doesn’t have this feature, since I don’t have it now. If you were considering this dishwasher, i would look elsewhere. I can’t recommend an appliance that relies on a buggy app to provide users access to all of its advertised features.
