Completely unreliable
I scheduled lawn mowing service for every 2 weeks. By now I should have gotten the lawn mowed 4 times. But I am still waiting for someone to show up for my third mowing. Today was a no-show, no communication again. I can’t even cancel the service because they have a ‘3 mow’ minimum. Trying to call or chat has an impossibly long wait time. I give up! I do not recommend!

Lied and ripped me off. I’ll be filing a complaint against this company and their strange deceitful business tactics.
Terminated Service
I had been happy with the service I received but cancelled after 2 weeks when I found another provider that was less expensive . I was billed the 3rd week for service I didn’t receive. When I called, the customer service person said they put the charge in after the service is done. No service was done. I had to call the credit card company to put in a dispute. Don’t use them.

NOT RELIABLE & IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL
Do not fall for this scam. They try to get you on a subscription schedule without delivering a service. You have to jump hoops to cancel it where they claim you need to get 3 mows that won’t even happen. This is NOT LEGALLY BINDING. Failure deliver service immediately cancels any obligations, it’s just a scam they use to scare you.

So far everything has gone great. I requested a service and a few days later a quality service was completed. No complaints here!

This “service” is a scam. No one ever comes despite the frequent automated messages that some one will come. After repeated broken promises and our yard growing wild for a month, I was able to find a local service that was happy to have the business. This outfit quotes a ridiculously low price and then makes it virtually impossible to get any confirmation. Their “Pros” aren’t. After six weeks a guy showed up with a push mower in the back of his car to mow our 1.5 acres. Nope!
Please don’t fall for this. We’ve told their rep on the phone to remove us from their client list, but they are still sending almost daily messages. When you sign up they ask for three services. Since they never provided any service, I’ve told them they’ve broken the ‘contract’ yet they are still trying to pretend they are going to send a Pro out here.

This company is nothing other than headache. You can’t connect to anyone w out downloading their app. If you connect to cancel anything, good luck, you are getting charged anyway..
Buyer Beware
Do not use this app for anything related to your lawn care needs. Everything is automated which makes solving problems impossible. The “pros” they hire are not. They’re handy men. One guy pulled up with a lawnmower on its side in his back seat. You also can’t cancel under any circumstances without using their service 3 times. No one ever showed up when they said they would, often times people showed up 5-6 days later than scheduled and some times just cancelled on you all together. Home gnome sends you an automatic message saying they’re getting some to you asap but no comes until the next scheduled service. So you just have to eat it in the meantime. I promise you you are better off using virtually anything other than this sad excuse of an app/service.

The app is really straightforward and easy to use. No bloat. The only issue I had was that when I couldnt sign in, on top of the the error message from my phone, it also kicks me back to the previous screen and forces me to retype all my info again.
