Stop trying to fix what’s not broke.
Hover has no sense of keeping a good product good. I constantly have to go back to properties and retake photos because it fails upload. Yes I have upload on WiFi only turned off, yes I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, yes I’ve force closed and reopened, yes I’ve made sure it’s updated, yes I’ve tried refreshing the queue in upload manager. Every remedy is well memorized at this point.
You are failing contractors at a high rate. You’ve increased your pricing but service just gets poorer and poorer. I’ve had to order eagle views. Because I spent 20 minutes collecting data and photos on site with a potential client, I don’t want to return because my tool isn’t working correctly. I have been using eagle view significantly more as of late l, because your service is some of the worst in the industry. I can’t describe how irritated I am with your app experience. I would rate zero stars if I could. You have lost yourself yet another loyal customer. Not that you care with all the money you essentially steal from people because your app fails so often.

Sloppy Instructions
My insurance company contracts with the app to get a home inspection. The app is not set up to give complete instructions, so I logged in with Google... then nothing worked. I asked the help chat and they said I had to use my original email. No one said that, so this app wasted me at least an hour. I'm disgusted and annoyed.

When it works it’s great but I’ve had multiple jobs where it’s been inaccurate and cost me a lot of money. Double check your numbers

Unwieldy and inaccurate
This app is absolutely terrible to try and get accurate dimensions with. If the room you are in is not a perfect square box it is going to think that everything is one large room and will not differentiate columns from walls. It is not user-friendly and is wildly inaccurate. If you have an open floor concept style home, it cannot accurately measure the room because it thinks everything is the same thing.

Multiple issues
The app fails constantly. And if you want to get interior measurements, don’t bother because the app constantly shuts down and does nothing more than waste phone battery.
Waste of Time. Uploaded 50 pictures and only 5 are in the report
My insurance company asked me to use this app for virtual inspection. Followed the process and uploaded all the pictures. Only the outside pictures ended up in the assessment when the insurance company needed both. And these pictures are taken through the app so I don’t have a backup aand have to take them again. Called support and they are unhelpful. This is not enterprise grade solution.

The support team at Hover is incredibly. They are prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. Their customer service is outstanding, and you couldn’t ask for a better support experience.
New to roofing but know garbage when I see it
This company is a joke. Rests on old tech and promises not kept. Hours for jobs to get quotes. Horrible service. Bye bye

Not much value
Difficult to use. Told by the Travelers insurance that I had to down load pictures to this app. Then what? No way to link or send information.
Great app
Been using it for years but some of the new stuff is great. The 3D measurements are much better.
Another scam
We signed up for a pro account for $99 a month. But that doesn’t include anything. That’s just a fee. Then if you do a job it’s $89 extra per job. Plus if they deem it “complex” they will add another $59. Not transparent at all. I despise these bait and switch corporation tactics with subscriptions. This is one of them.

APP NOT WORKING, poor customer service
I have been having issues with any of my photos uploading to jobs. The issue has been going on for a month now, and no one can seem to resolve the issue. As a contractor, this has a huge impact on how timely I am getting customers estimates.
Soooooooooooo slow now
Back in the day hover was awesome. Now it’s super super slow it’s infuriating when I have other jobs to do. Especially with AI being so good now doesn’t make much sense
Frustrating
App seemed great with lots of ways to check out and redesign your house. Frustrating part is after doing all that work and trying to save it, the app freezes and does not save.
Can’t delete the account
I’ve been trying to delete the account or delete the pictures I uploaded and somehow it’s impossible
Made my job so much easier and efficient.
Obviously technology will always live under the burden of. If it works. It will be amazing. So like any software designed to enhance and build off of. Hover has its strengths and weaknesses. This would be no exception. However the strength of the app in comparison to doing my job without it. Really separates a good adjuster from those who are just mediocre and those who need tremendous assistance.
I am a field adjuster for a world leading insurance company and we utilize the app to fine tune our, already strong skills, this has completely changed our flow of operations. We are hundreds of percentages more efficient and our accuracy is spot on. That makes the corporate leaders happy and it allows us to get to an assignment and get done. But most of all. It frees up our time to care for the customer. We aren’t spending an hour drawing diagrams or measuring roofs. And it really separates those who are flexible and adaptable in those stuck in old ways they don’t help the customer.
I really like this app a lot. What a time it is to do our line of work with advancements like this.
