You shouldn’t need to know or have my driver license before I even book. I’m just trying to find pricing out, you shouldn’t ask for Driver License, selfies, etc until booking

Best value for a quick run around
Needed the car for a couple of hours and it was perfect for what we wanted. Highly recommend Hui. Great customer service too
Much less expensive than owning a car
Since I live in a building that doesn’t have enough parking for everyone, having Hui CarShare so close by fits the bill perfectly when I have to go to Costco or take someone to the airport. Love this service!!! Mahalo❣️
Would not apply 50% off coupon
I applied my coupon before my trip started and it did not apply. After contacting customer service, they were unable to help me at all. Very unprofessional and this offer is very misleading. Would not recommend this company.
VERIFYING
They want to not verify my identity. I’ve uploaded my card SEVERAL times. Each time it would ask me to use a non expired card, my cards are not expired.
Verification issues
I submitted everything needed for verification about 2 weeks ago and I’m now in Hawaii and I’m still not verified and there is zero customer support. Very disappointing.
Zero Customer Support
I had gotten this app on vacation back on Oahu when I saw a car at a Foodland. I was interested in a short term rental for day trips I might want to take while I was here. I downloaded the app on May 10, and after the 24 hours, determined that there must have been an issue. I called the number, pressed the prompt for verification, and was sent to a repeating message that it may take 48 hours. After another day, called again and no change. Now I am leaving, having had to use an alternative for car rentals, and am very sad that they make it this difficult for potential new customers.

Customer service sucks
I’ve been trying to use this app for 4 days now and I can’t even get past the phone number verification because it won’t send a code!! This has happened to 2 other people in my group as well. We tried contacting customer service and it took HOURS of consistent calling to even get a person on the phone and when we did connect with them they were rude/said they couldn’t help with the code issue.

Awful app and service
Can’t get my license approved. Stuck in “approval pending” for weeks even though it says 24 hours. When i called customer service, i was stuck in a hold loop for what felt like forever and when i finally got hold of someone, they said there was too much glare on my license to identify me. Well the app automatically uses the flash so not my fault. So i tried again and now it just says my license is expired. Then I tried logging in using another phone and the app says to enter the code i received via text, but I received no such text. I verified that the phone number on my account is correct and hit “resend” but nothing. Calling customer service again and have been on hold for 10 min and counting. TERRIBLE!!!

Could not create an account
App needs serious updates. Couldn’t even create a new account. Tried everything. I keep getting an error, “The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format.” for no reason.

Great option without a deposit
Visiting Waikīkī for the first time and didn’t plan on renting a car. After a few days, I wanted to see more of the island and Ubers would have been expensive. I looked at renting a car for the day from a few places, but while the rentals were cheaper, I would have to pay a massive deposit and pay for parking it overnight which would add to cost. While I would have gotten it back, it was something I couldn’t afford. I looked for options and found this. It was cheaper than renting and parking overnight, and no deposit was required. It was perfect for the day we had. I am sooo glad I found this and hope to find it stateside!

Poor user interface and not user friendly at all
I am a first time user and had confusing time booking the trip. I made a mistake and needed to make a change and it charged me $18 just to cancel and make changes. So upset with my first time use experience. I wanted to trust the app despite some reviews indicating horrible experiences. This app experience low key feels borderline rip off and fraud.

Invasive
You need to enter your card number and verify your drivers license BEFORE you can even see what cars are available and how much they cost. It asks for too much personal info before I have even decided if I want to use the service or not.

I love hui it’s easy convenient and awesome to use other than that I think their so could def use some upgrades like being able to change your reservation times and card to pay for it it’s really awesome tho
