Motivation

I like that you don’t have to pay extra if you don’t want extra

No offline capability

As much as I want to give it 5 stars I have no way of using it when I am away from WiFi. It has great navigation ability and easy to do and understand work outs. Heck even the beginning questionnaire was great. Unfortunately being unable to have service and not able to use the app while not being logged in makes it impossible for me to use it at all. Also paying $100 for a year or paying for a monthly subscription is way out of my budget. They also make you choose the yearly subscription if you want to do the 7 day free trial. Overall a really good product if you don’t have connection issues and have the budget that can work with that.

Simple but also a bit lazy

This app is fine. For a guy who spends his time making videos, it would make sense to actually include some audio explaining how to do the exercise and its importance. If you have levels for each exercise, it would also make sense to let me select the level I want. For timed exercises, why not add a countdown instead? It's missing a lot, and for now, I don't see the value in paying for a subscription.

Please just one update

This app is perfect! One thing that could be cool add is progressions for custom workouts! I’m doing handstands and it would be awesome if I could do the progressions I want to do for them

I love Hampton from hybrid calistenics

Everything is integrated neatly and I feel like the devs will respond to feedback based on the app.

Fantastic App

Simple, straight forward, calisthenics strength training app.

It actually helps you get better and always meets you where you’re at regardless of experience level, high or low.

Finally something that leads with positivity

So many of these apps try to tap into insecurities, whether it’s weight loss, what people think of you, etc. This app takes you where you’re at and adjusts to you so you can start gently and move forward. Motivates without body shaming!

Pretty Good Overall

I’d say this is an excellent app, but it glitched for me, so I wish there was a report function. Overall, 4 1/2 stars. I would tap that, but I can’t. App stores doesn’t have half stars for ratings.

Disappointed

There’s no commentary you have to be watching it actually do the exercises and you can’t log your second set

Great for everyone

App allows beginners to get in shape enough to access greater exercises. Following the Hybrid Routine paired with a great diet and cardio also promotes significant growth and strength in all areas. Highly recommend for newbies and individuals who are returning to their fitness routine. Best advice is to take things slow and do the level 1 progressions of all workouts despite what your ego may tell you.

Too easy

It started off too easy and there’s no music or sounds to let you know when you’re supposed to move on

Great App However..

I just wish I could have it connect to my Apple Health.

Audio adds

I like Hammond and the Hybrid Calisthenics program. The app does a wonderful job at explaining exercises as well as setting clear goals.

For my first week of use I had no problems and would recommend the app. Unfortunately after the first week I started receiving audio adds every time I logged a set. These adds would interrupt whatever music or book I was listening to and really soured my experience with using the app.

If there is a way to disable audio adds I’ll change my review but right now I may go back to using a google sheet to track progress instead of the app.

ads ruin the experience

I can't afford a subscription but I would happily drop a few dollars one time to get rid of the ads. many other apps have that option. please :) <3

Functionality is terrible

I really want to be able to do this and I love the idea that it guides you, but right now I cannot restart an accidentally started day 1 first video, so I am forced to do only the other exercises. In addition, I also cannot watch the start guide and while in the app it keeps trying to direct me to watch everything in the app. I hope they fix these issues, as they appear to be pretty basic functionality type issues. (And yes, my app is updated).

Beginner friendly

Great exercises modified for all levels of fitness. Makes starting to exercise for this 63 year old lady a doable thing. !

I'm a real person. Read this. It's insane🫣‼️

This is the best workout app I've ever seen. You just have to try it for yourself to know. If you pair it with the Lift Off app, you will never miss a workout day ever, and you will feel amazing.

No equipment?

I didn’t realize equipment was needed.
