Horrible App, Good Rewards
The app constantly gets stuck in a state of permanent buffering where the only solution is to uninstall it. This is the only app that does this. On top of that, the app NEVER keeps you signed in so you have to log in every single time you want to you it. The only good thing saving this is the rewards have actual value to them which I appreciate.

No options to change menu items.
Disappointed with the IHOP app and the recent menu changes. The app makes ordering frustrating because you can’t make simple substitutions to your food. Everyone has different preferences or dietary needs, and something as basic as swapping an item shouldn’t require placing a complicated special request—or calling the restaurant.
I’m also not a fan of some of the recent menu changes. Between fewer options and the lack of customization in the app, the overall ordering experience feels like a step backward. Hopefully IHOP improves the app and brings back more flexibility for customers.

I’m not signing into a bank account. It should not be this convoluted to get into a restaurant app that kicks you and makes you resign in everytime. Just fix the darn app.

I’ve been trying to update the App and the IHOP App won’t let me update? My phone is functioning normal. I can update ALL my other Apps except the IHOP App? I have received to add to my account.

Why don’t you show my name and order number etc in the app like other apps so that when I show my order to the waiter/waitress they can easily tell which order is mine
Cannot stay logged in
If you want to open the app more than once a day maybe to check if the points from the receipt you scanned have landed in your account you have to completely log in again like you have never logged into the app. What is the point when even a website can remember your login info
Useless for dine-in
Why does this app even exist? If it doesn’t speed things up for dine in, why even bother with this app?
Lost all of my points
Not only did that, but also it made me a new account so I can’t log into the old one anymore. I spent good money on IHOP and I deserve compensation!!!

Card keeps declining
This is app is super inconvenient and broken, each time I input my card it says my address is wrong for the card and it declines my account. I drove 25 minutes to the location for nothing. DO NOT USE THIS APP.
Forced to update iOS if you want to use the app
IHOP is forcing customers to update their iOS system in order to continue using the app. I have pan coins that can’t be used because of this. It is unfair and unrealistic to think everyone wants to update their phone taking up additional storage and slowing their service down. We should have an option to still add our points to our account. This is not how you treat loyal customers. Ridiculous

Really confusing coin system. Not intuitive. Cant find where to add silverware. Had to enter in make/model for car several times.
