system matters
I rented a vehicle from IndusGo and wanted to share feedback directly. The gap between the brand promise and the actual experience is significant.
The marketing, website, and booking experience are well done and create strong expectations. The on-ground experience falls short of basic standards.
Key observations:
* The car had a strong oil smell and was unclean.
* Wait time at the airport was around 45 minutes before I could drive out.
* The vehicle was a CNG car with very limited trunk space. This constraint was not communicated clearly upfront.
* A plastic panel below the steering was broken. It kept making noise and interfered with inserting the key.
* Overall vehicle condition felt poorly maintained and closer to a garage-level setup than a managed fleet.
* Fuel handling was difficult. Matching previous fuel levels using an analog meter is impractical. I ended up over-fueling to avoid any dispute.
For a first-time customer, this moment should build confidence and pride in choosing an Indian rental company. The experience instead feels unreliable and poorly managed.
This reflects a deeper experience design issue at a system level:
* Vehicle readiness and quality control
* Handover efficiency at airport locations
* Transparency in vehicle type and constraints
* Practicality of operating policies such as fuel handling
If IndusGo aims to build a strong position in this space, these fundamentals need immediate attention. Early-stage ambition cannot come at the cost of customer experience.
Sharing this with the expectation that it is taken seriously and addressed structurally.

Lazy customer support
We rented a car in Trivandrum in peak tourist time whose battery got dead on day one of the trip. It took us half day to get replacement batteries from the Indus showroom as the customer support was not very active. But they compensated for the same after the trip ended. It would have been better if the car which was handed over was prechecked.

Poor
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent car rental experience with IndusGo, which was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
Both vehicles provided to us were not working properly. One car had a serious clutch issue, and the other car had a steering problem where it got stuck while driving. Due to these issues, we were unable to visit any places as planned, which completely ruined our trip.
I contacted your customer care 2–3 times. Each time, I was assured that a service executive would call me back within 5 minutes. However, till now, I have not received any call or assistance from your team. We were stuck with no solution and no help from your side.
The overall service was very poor, and the vehicle condition was also bad. At the last moment, the vehicle was changed, and although we were provided an LXI model, we were charged for a VXI model, which is completely unfair.
Due to all these issues—poor vehicle condition, lack of customer support, incorrect billing, and the inconvenience caused—I am highly dissatisfied with IndusGo’s service. I will be rating this experience very low and will not choose IndusGo again in the future.
I request a full refund at the earliest possible and ask you to look into this matter seriously.
Please treat this issue as urgent and respond as soon as possible.

Self driving experience like no other
Had a great experience with IndusGo recently. Very professional and friendly service.
⭐ Avoid IndusGo at any cost ⭐
I had an extremely bad experience with IndusGo that clearly shows the unethical and unprofessional behavior of the company.
Even if you read through the reviews, you will see many customers saying they were forced to give five-star ratings, while in reality, there are plenty of negative experiences — from cars breaking down multiple times to last-minute cancellations where they suddenly claim the car is not available.
In my case, I faced a serious medical emergency and requested a cancellation. Instead of handling the case with basic compassion and ethics, their team made me call repeatedly, demanded documents again and again, and gave me false assurances. Shockingly, I was told that the “manager was on vacation” — as if an emergency can wait for their convenience. This reflects how unethical, insensitive, and poorly managed their system is, with absolutely no moral balance in their policies.
Despite submitting all medical documents and explaining the seriousness of my case, they did not take any responsible action. The customer care team was highly unprofessional, showed no understanding, and kept delaying until I was forced to cancel on my own.
This company clearly lacks ethics and responsibility towards its customers. It seems that many of the positive reviews are forced, while genuine customer issues are ignored.
If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay away from IndusGo. Far better to go with reputed platforms like Zoomcar or other established companies that have proper facilities, policies, and accountability.

Kerala trip
My recent experience with IndusGo’s rental car service during my Kerala trip was nothing short of exceptional. From the seamless booking process to the effortless handover, every step was a testament to their professionalism and efficiency.
Taking possession of the vehicle was swift—just a matter of minutes after presenting the required documents—and returning it was even smoother. The car itself was in excellent condition, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free journey through Kerala’s breathtaking landscapes.
Beyond just providing a vehicle, IndusGo truly excelled in offering guidance and support throughout the trip. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in the responsiveness and helpfulness of their staff. Speaking of which, their team’s courteous and professional demeanor made the experience even more delightful.
A special mention goes to their user-friendly app, which made the entire rental process effortless. A seamless digital experience coupled with an outstanding service team—what more could one ask for?
IndusGo is a name I’d wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a reliable and rewarding car rental experience!

Refund issue
Don’t book your car this app they won’t refund the security deposit . Think twice before booking
Worst Service
Too slow service and why would I promote the IndusGO advertising on the rented car. Its been a month since I returned the car and haven’t received the refundable deposit even after contacting them many times.
Horrible service
We booked a Innova 4 months ago in Bangalore as we are traveling from the US and needed a reliable car.
Upon receiving the car we realized that the permit was expired and not drivable. After hours of waiting for a new permit approval with 4 kids outside of our hotel, the manager pramisooriith decided to cancel the car. The employee who was delivering the car was trying to help us find another one through the company and the manager pramisoorjith didn't like that and was scolding him in front of me ultimately firing him for trying to help me. Please treat your employees better. This man deserves his job back.

It's a really good app, I've been using it all the time
The best part about IndusGo is the wide range of cars they offer. I always find something that fits my needs perfectly.
“Excellent Car Rental Experience!”
I’ve used the Indus Go app a few times now, and it’s been fantastic each time. The booking process is simple and fast, and the app has a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to find the right car at the best price. The cars are always well-maintained and clean, and pickup/drop-off locations are convenient. I love that there’s flexibility with timings, and customer support has been very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend Indus Go for anyone looking for a hassle-free car rental experience!

Awesome Experience
During my 8 days Kerala and TN Trip which I had started from Cochin, I had taken a self drive car from Indus Go, a swift-manual- petrol. It was a great experience, they had provided me a absolutely new 2021 model vehicle, no running issue and finally it made my trip a memorable one,,,, thank you Indus Go ❤️

Terrible Service – Refund Issue!
I rented a car from IndusGO, used it, and returned it on time. However, despite multiple follow-ups, they still haven’t refunded a part of my advance. I’ve called customer care several times, and every time they claim the refund has been processed. But when I ask for transaction details, they either dodge the question or simply stop responding. This level of dishonesty and lack of accountability is unacceptable! If you’re thinking of renting from IndusGO, be prepared for frustration and poor service. I will never use this service again, and I advise others to stay away.

Review
I didn’t like the services and the approach of the executive present during the delivery and while returning the car.
Pros :
-Most of the cars are new.
-Rates compared to other competitors looks attractive for short travel.
- Before the delivery the car is washed.
- Executive during delivery will clarify any doubts you have.
The entire takes atleast half hour, probably that’s expected.
Cons: Though the cars are washed but no cleaning is done from inside apart from mats.
Some of the cars seats are dirty, even after complaining to change the car, executives are like wait for more 1 hour.
- They should start using clean cloths after wash.
- While returning the car, if there are any Small Scratches, Executives charge around 2k to 5k plus 28% tax.
However there competitors like Zoom car and long drive car are much reasonable in terms of damage protection plan.
Though the company is claiming the damages from there insurance, it’s still put on customers with hefty penalties.
- adding to that there are rude behaviours observed with executives while returning the car, if there are small scratches, they are like even if it’s a big scratch and damage we charge the same amount and with small scratches aswell we charge the same. This is just another way of lotting money and not providing customers with protection plan.
- unless you ask executives about the car papers they don’t provide or they mention as call us, we will message you.

Amazing Experience! Recommended
We booked a manual Ignis for a three day visit to Kerala. Right after booking online, I got a confirmation on WhatsApp with all relevant contacts. On the day of pick up, I was promptly called by their executive and the driver regarding my flight timing and location for pick up. The driver himself was very polite and friendly and explained everything I wanted to know. The experience at drop off was also top notch with the firms executive and driver calling me up well in time and explained the formalities. I got the refund of the security deposit along with a refund for the marginally more fuel that I had left in the tank. Overall, I believe this is the best Self Drive Rental as on date. Strongly recommended!
