Actual Downgrade

I love the interface of the “upgraded” app, but its functionality is poor. My reimbursement account is labeled as a savings account in the app, but it’s a checking account (which is labeled correctly on the website). I’ve submitted claims with documentation and then the documentation somehow magically disappears, which delays getting the claim processed and therefore significantly delays reimbursement.

App Broke After Last Update

With the last major 7/1/26 update, I’m no longer able to submit claims using iOS, Android or Linux. Reached out to customer care and no help.

New App is far superior

The login improvements are excellent. The app is easy to use and allows me to do the actions that I rely on. Great update to the app. This is a job well done.

Latest update broke app

Can’t log in anymore. Same login working on website, but app is unusable

Edit: update apparently enforced a password requirement that wasn’t in place when I created my account (which may be from pre-acquisition of payflex). If you’re running into a problem where you can log in on the website but not the app, reset your password and follow the criteria. New app works okay and makes scanning docs a bit easier.

Redesign Initally Good

So far, I appreciate the redesigned app. It's more visually appealing and seems to logically flow better, but I haven't needed to use it for any expenses yet. My invested rate of return function seems to be stuck though, it would be nice to have an accurate rate of return and to have better metrics for tracking individual investment funds rate of returns for my holdings, not just that of the fund itself. Otherwise, I do enjoy the app itself.

Claim activity not yet available on the new version!

They issued an update which is incomplete. You can’t see account activity yet!!! AND it wouldn’t let you log in. You had to request a new password. I wish these app developers would be more complete in their thought and development process!!

Only Improvement of 2026

The new version of the app is probably going to be the only good thing to come out of 2026, so props I guess?

Behind the times

First of all, simple login experience is horrific. Why do I need to enter my login and password AND do Face ID too every time? Very excessive and slows down the process. Next, submitting a claim is a pain in the neck. It won’t allow a picture from my phone of the document despite saying that’s an option, and if you navigate away to create a quick PDF, it immediately times out and you have to start your claim all over again. These issues have persisted for years with NO attempt at making it more user friendly. PLEASE LISTEN!!!

Much needed improvements!

Finally it is modernized. Still awkward login but it’s ok. My commuter transactions aren’t showing up though. But neither is it on web so not an app issue

Can’t login

I can’t login to the new app with my login and password, but it works on the website. When are you going to fix this issue?

Terrible app

Constantly get signed out. App is not user friendly. Hard to navigate and understand balances owed for unauthorized charges. Forced to use this company and hope our insurance provider changes next year.

Still the worst

This app is still the worst even after getting notification of an all new exciting app. Well how is it possible that i can log in on a web browser but the app does not recognize my user name and password no matter what i do. And I still dont get the text with the verification code to log in on the website. It will only send it via email. I will tell you how. They still have the trash app developers as before so once a trash app always a trash app apparently. At least I could log in to the old app version. But they have somehow managed to mess up the old app, which was bad enough before, and make it worse by losing the ability to log in all together.

Love the new update!

The latest update makes managing my HSA so easy! Love the passkey for login!

New App version doesn’t work

Zero stars. The new version released on 6/30 won’t let me log in. It tells me invalid username and password even though the exact same username and password works on the website. Zero stars.

App is bad

App before the update was buggy, now they’ve “updated” it and it’s still just as bad. Camera for scans just takes pictures whenever and that doesn’t matter because they won’t upload for the claims anyway.

New app!

Loved the new update. This application now looks and feels like a true mobile application. Earlier it seemed like a desktop app disguised as mobile application.

Absolutely the worst

I cannot begin to tell you how frustrating this app is. It tells you all the document types it accepts, and then will not accept them. Every single time I go to try to deal with a claim with the supporting documentation that they asked for, something goes wrong and it will not be accepted. Absolutely the worst experience on any app that I’ve ever tried. Horrible.
