Registration failed
I have been unable to register on this app for the past one month despite trying multiple times. The registration process consistently fails, making the app completely unusable. I have already tried all the basic troubleshooting steps, but nothing has worked. Please fix this issue as soon as possible and improve the user experience. Kindly help me to resolve my issue

Enable UPI
Definitely the app design and Ui has got way better
However with this new version. I’m not sure why the bank is pushing us to enable UPI
I mean I don’t want that service. I want to just use the traditional features and that’s it. There is no skip or close for this and I’m unable to use the app hence the rating

Very bad
This is the worst app I have ever used. If you live in Kerala and use a BSNL SIM, you simply cannot register for this app. First of all, registration is only possible on a mobile network, not on Wi-Fi. Second, it requires an SMS verification. Once the SMS is sent, the BSNL internet goes down for about a minute, causing the app to show an error. Even if you try to send the SMS twice, it hits the daily limit and shows a warning. Under these conditions, registration is impossible, which is incredibly frustrating.

No Sim Found
I have come to USA on holiday and find that I cannot connect to IOB connect after facial recognition.
It says no SIM found.
But for SBI Lite Yono app it gets connected after facial biometrics .
I wish IOB Connect can do something about it which will be useful for customers going abroad.

User Friendly Interface
The app is very user friendly and all the major services are available. There is hardly any need to visit branch. Extremely satisfied.
Bug full application
I tried installing and using the IOB mobile banking application, but the experience has been very frustrating.
The app requests access to all contacts on my phone, and it is not clear why a banking application requires this permission. This raises privacy concerns.
The SMS verification process is also problematic. For security reasons, the input fields are masked, making it difficult to troubleshoot verification issues. On iPhone, the verification SMS is being sent as an iMessage, and there is no option within the app to change this because the input is hidden.
Even after multiple attempts, when verification finally succeeds, the app frequently crashes and becomes unusable. As a result, I have been unable to access or use the app properly.
I hope the developers address these issues, improve stability, and provide more transparency regarding permissions and the verification process.

Hi, Thank you for contacting us, Contact access is optional, and users can opt out of it, its not mandatory to access the app. Disabling iMessage can be done from the phone's settings Settings > Apps > Messages.
Not friendly make it difficult
Who designed this app? The app designer seems to have done a poor job. I'm surprised by how poorly the app is made. Nowadays, people can get really frustrated with such designs. An app should be user-friendly, but this one is frustrating. I tried to manage my limit, but there's no option for debit cards, only credit cards. On the internet banking website, why is there an acknowledgment option without a tick box? Due to this poor design, I'm unable to make my payment. Am seafarer i want to sent money am aboard and am middle of the sea i want trnsfer money i have wifi but no sim network what i will dooi?????? Any one please explaining

Best App for transfer of funds
Have used quite a few apps but this stands out. Never have u ever faced a Big problem that lasted, they are doing a fabulous job in maintaining and updating the app continuously. Way to go Indian Overseas Bank!!!
Pathetic application
Needs so much improvement. Definitely better than the older version but problem still exists and its annoying when the app can’t even load basic details and calling their support is another task I don’t really know how to get in touch with them
Money can’t transfer to other
Money can’t transfer to other account . It showing some error like account no can’t blank. Pay from account is blank. No option is available. Please fix the bugs as soon as possible
Long waiting time
The overall app is really great. But most of the time it takes lot of time for loading and showing it’s services. And sometime after loading it just say unable to open please try again. Please fix it

Great app for managing my finances on the go! Very reliable and user-friendly banking experience. The interface is clean and neat and face I’d feature is super fast and hassle free and some time there is technical failure in the application
Intrusive and Useless
The only reason this app exists is to mine as much personal data from the user, not providing a good, usable experience. It is shockingly intrusive, severely lacking in features, and demands permissions it absolutely does not need simply to perform basic tasks.
They killed a perfectly good app to force us into using this absolute piece of garbage.
Whoever decided it would be a good idea to use obviously fake reviews to prop up this shoddy project: You’re the worst.

Can’t login anymore
It worked for a few weeks, but now it asks me to register for the app. Once registration is completed, the first time I try to login, it de-registers the mobile number and I have to register again. It goes in circles. It is broken.
App is Broken
App logs me out after when i try to log in. I get an sms that number has been deregistered. Please fix asap

The app has moved forward in design and usability, delivering a better user experience. It just needs solid logout and session-management features to balance aesthetics with strong security.
If the logout and session controls are added, this would be a near-perfect blend of UI polish and security. For now, rate it 4.0/5 with the caveat that the logout feature is missing.

Hi there, thank you for contacting us, logout option is available, in home screen please check more tab in the bottom, once you're in the more section, you can check the last icon on the top right corner of the app to logout, on you can scroll down you'll get a logout option there as well.
Need attention
Hey, I have been using the new app for a month and the user experience is good but many functions are not working as expected. Especially the fund transfer i made a transaction using upi id three days back and when i am trying to do any upi transactions it throws error maximum thresh hold limit exerted but today i didn’t made any transactions.

Need Improvements
When I open the app without turning on location, it won’t opening shows the error message to use UPI need location access. This is not a good thing because most of the users using UPI in third party apps. Other issue I’m facing is I’m unable to view the loans details in the loans tab. So please fix this issues this is very annoying.

A must have for IOB customers
I’ve been really impressed with the IOB Connect app. The clean, modern UI makes it so much easier to use compared to the website. It’s intuitive, responsive, and everything loads quickly without lag. I like and appreciate how easy it is to navigate through features — checking my account statement, deposit details, and PPF information takes just a few taps. Online transactions are also seamless which makes everyday banking really convenient. Overall, it’s made managing my finances much smoother. Great job by the IOB team!
