Worst service & more glitches and no improvements since app.

Please dont open this ippb account, you wont get proper service and also this ippb is not belongs to INDIA POST, and ippb is not complete bank its just post payment bank. This ippb using INDIA POST.i dont know whats the deal commission base system but. Terms and condition you should check how the charges will deduct every year for premium name service but not at all. You can go vth rural bank even it better . More glitches , no costumer support , they will freeze your account any time and say high value transactions but its not more like rs 5-15k Over all i used for long time 2 years after writing this.

Worst handling of Previously used MPIN

Ideally person should not able to select from last five MPIN. but this app is checking mpin set from inception. No one can remember so many new MPINs.
Everytime I wanted to use it ai need to reset the MPIN. Also while resetting you allow everything to be entered and if the mpin is previously set you wipe out all the details what customer has already filled and ask him to do it again ??? Very bad customer experience. As a Digital application it should make customer life easy.
If you can make some changes for good experience will change this rating to 5 star😄

Location services Enabled but App still not working

The app is currently unusable on iPhone. When I open the app, it repeatedly shows a message asking me to activate location services, even though location access is already set to “Always” with Precise Location enabled in iPhone settings.

Because of this continuous prompt, I’m unable to proceed or access the application at all. I have tried rechecking settings and reopening the app, but the issue persists.

This looks like a technical bug in the app’s location permission handling on iOS. Please fix this issue as soon as possible so users can access the app without unnecessary blocks.

Unable to register in ios. After entering customer id, Acc number and dob. Register button invisible. Even before why try to use services after selecting ssy account details next button is not available. There are lot of issuea in this app. Unable to login properly, unable to register properly even after registration unable to use services. Needs more improvement. Less than 1 star I can say. Poor quality and worst usage experience. Now I have to visit post office withdraw money and deposit in sssy acount.

Good initiative but hopeless services as usual from Government

This application is good for online transaction rather than standing in a line outside the post office for long time as the counter bearer take lots of time just to accept the money on counter. However, when I am trying to make any online transaction to transfer money through this application, i am unable to submit the 6 digit OTP to complete the transaction. I have tried on all my phones with different OS. I am trying to make an online transaction since last week, however, I am unable to make any transaction, not even login to the app.
Hence, i request to the application developer to look into this issue, otherwise Digital India movement is fail just because we are unable to understand the latest technology and to address the troubleshoot. I hope this issue will be taken care on priority. Thank you.

Mobile banking login issue

installed the India Post Banking app a month ago, but I am still unable to log in. Every time I try to register by entering my account number, customer ID, and date of birth, the app shows the message, "Please enter valid details."

What's frustrating is that these exact same details work perfectly fine on the India Post Net Banking website. I can log in and complete transactions on the website without any issues. This clearly shows that the problem is with the app, not the user details.

The issue seems to have been there for a very long time, but the developers haven't fixed it yet. It's disappointing that such a critical app for managing accounts is riddled with bugs. A banking app should prioritize functionality and user experience, but this app fails miserably on both fronts.

Suggestions for Improvement:
1. Fix the login/registration issue immediately.
2. Improve error messages to specify the exact problem.
3. Regularly update and debug the app.

Until these problems are resolved, I cannot recommend the India Post Banking app to anyone. Stick to the Net Banking website for now, as it's more reliable.

I’ve been using the IPPB Mobile Banking app and have encountered several issues that make the experience quite frustrating. The app frequently crashes and is often unresponsive. Simple tasks like checking my balance or transferring funds become time-consuming due to these glitches. User Interface: The design is not intuitive. Navigating through the app feels cumbersome, and essential features are buried under multiple menus. Customer Support: Reaching out for assistance has been challenging. The customer service response is slow, and issues take a long time to resolve, if at all.

I hope the developers take these concerns seriously and work towards improving the app’s stability, usability, and customer support services.

Terrible Experience with IPPB

My experience with the IPPB mobile banking app has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite enabling location services as requested, the app continuously prompts me to do so, rendering it virtually unusable.

The frustration doesn't end there – attempting to seek support from customer care only adds insult to injury. Their support is abysmal, leaving me stranded with no solution in sight. It's appalling to see such incompetence from a service that's supposed to facilitate banking on the go.

In summary, the IPPB mobile banking app is plagued with technical glitches and backed by woeful customer support. I strongly advise against using it until these issues are rectified. Save yourself the headache and explore other banking options instead.

App not working blank white screen

post to the recent app update..the app not working, no error message displayed..just a blank white screen..I’m using this app internationally..is it now restricted to access only within India?

Developer went on leave?

I have never seen a wonderful application like this. I guess the developer went on leave after the first buggy release. When you are in urgent need to make a payment or need to do last minute PPF or RD payment, the app fails you. Oh wait, I should appreciate the login. Even my 5 month baby would grow up, go to school, and get graduated. But IPPB app won’t let me login without asking 1000s of stupid questions. I guess somewhere someone swallowed all the money allocated for this project. At least change the agency you are working with.

Hey developer i like your app I haven’t faced anything awful till now
 when i try to open the app there is an error popping up “unable to connect to the server retry after 5 second “ when i called your customer care he told me to update the app then the problem will get fixed. The problem is that how can I update when there is no update showing. pls fix this problem as soon as possible

Worst banking app

App doesn’t activate even after trying multiple times.
OTP receiving time limit is 30 seconds which is big problem as in many cases this expires.
Not user friendly. Activation process is very complicated.

HORRIBLE App

This app is as inefficient as the current government. Everytime I try to login I get error msg “ Please enable device location”. Despite its being enabled in iOS 17. I did all the troubleshooting I could, infact re-registered multiple time but still stuck with the same error.
The developers who created this app should be shameful that in the modern technological space the consumers have to dealt with such silly issues without immediate attention to fix it. Oh yeah! How can we expect you to be better because you are paid by this current government whose development works is quite evident from the hasty inauguration of several buildings and within a year there are leakages(ram mandir & new parliament building, all express ways etc.). Similarly, can understand now how this app was launched in hasty but later no support/upgrade to fix the problems.

Pathetic

4 years ago when I left my job at India Post I was hopeful of the future of India Post and was particularly impressed by IPPB initiative. But I happened to use this app yesterday and also went to Post Office for a very basic work. My experience was pathetic. This App is just useless. It doesn’t even work 7 out of 10 times. I haven’t been able to do a simple transaction in last 24 hours. This is how bad it is. It doesn’t even open. If it opens, it crashes. In the middlle of an transaction it stops.

I now wish that India Post is soon privatised so that it can work efficiently. The GOI is not paying any attention to India Post and the employees in India Post (specifically the IPPB cell and the Clerical staff) is of no use and just a burden on taxpayers money. I was a clerk in India post some 4 years ago, left it because I got an officer post in other department. But unfortunately, my revisit to India Post just made me realise that this department is very very inefficient and regressive to the very core. Both the GoI and the DoP are responsible for literally destroying DoP. I think I should just close all account from this pathetic department and go to private banks as they charge heavily but provide door to door service at least.

Not able to login

I am using iPhone, previously the app was working as usual, after that it logged out automatically and not able to login, now I have tried to reinstall the app and tried to re register, after filling all information while Otp submit slide it doesn't accept, while typing otp is not able to enter, 2nd after generating op it gets expired within second and 3rd after re generating otp the typing layout is changed not in Center, had very bad experience to ippb application, there is no way to login app and do the transaction.

It’s not allowed to enter OTP

I have using iPhone when the OTP receives then the app UI is not letting me to enter the OTP. Very poorly developed. At least when you develop make sure the basic operations should work
