Un-useful app
This app is not very useful. Partly it’s the fact that the oven sucks, and takes forever to heat up- the number one use case for this app is seeing what the temperature is, as the oven has no readout- only a dial. But every time they update the app, the device disconnects, and one has to remember how they logged in last time to make it reconnect.

Angry
I have used our double oven sparingly. Actually had two years of no use when I was traveling and searching for medical care for my wife. It has not worked for the past 6 months and the part is allegedly on back order. The delivery date is constantly set back and now I am told there is no ETA. I have been caring for a very sick wife for years and have no oven for meal prep. We thought we were buying a high end appliance and all we have is non-functioning junk in our wall.
I have had to work hard to not add expletives to this review.

Not backwards compatible
Wasted an hour today trying to connect my Jenn Air dishwasher to wi-fi with this app. Finally contacted support who informed me they have abandoned support for dishwashers, but are “working hard on future updates” that may support older models. Biggest problem is that the connect workflow, and online guidance, leads you to believe it is possible. A simple error message like “your dishwasher is not supported” would have saved much headache.

Wifi
At first, I thought I would never use the wifi option. Boy was I wrong! I don’t use it everyday but it’s the little recipes that I love it for. Today I’m making Pavlova for the second time and it’s a great feature for this. I can put it, bake for 2 hours and leave to cool over night and the oven turns off on its own! I also love many other features and the look. It takes getting used to that there’s no screen display, so that’s why I gave it four stars. Otherwise it’s great and good value.

Why is this app so terrible?
Always logs me out, doesn’t remember the password, latest update is just so ugly, why is this app so terrible?
And what’s impressive is that the latest update (July 2026) is even WORSE than the old app!
