My pup had been sick and was feeling off and lethargic he’s normally a 100 miles an hour dog
i was concerned but as improving not sure if vet visit required
This service was amazing it walked me through symptoms and i spoke to Rita a vet who gave a virtual check up of gums , dehydration levels and breathing videos and prescribed me a medication to settle pups tum

Very user friendly
Amazing!!
What a brilliant app! I contacted them as part of my pet insurance, rather than taking my cat to the vet for the spots he had above his eyes.
The initial communication, to discuss the issue my cat was having, was extremely prompt and I was not left waiting for a response.
Then I had input from a vet and was able to send pics of my cat. The vet recommended a couple of items which worked wonders and saved me a fortune not having to go and see the vet in person.
I was so impressed, from start to finish, with the vet and staff I came into contact with.

I have never left a review for an app before but I thought this one deserves one! I don’t know what I would do without the help from the Joii vets! So quick and simple to use and always get great advice off the vets!

First time I’ve used the service, its fantastic. The two vets I spoke to were superb, really helpful and completely put my mind at ease. They recommended products without being pushy. Such a different experience to a practice.

It’s really irritating that I keep getting notifications for items on sale and there’s no way to turn them off

just brilliant
had a poorly pup that has keep us up for last couple of nights with sickness and diarrhoea. and was just not himself so we were worried about him. looked at my pet insurance and noticed this app available. so installed and within 30 mins our minds were but at rest. were given a treatment plan which has made our pup so much better. so five stars all round. my whole family and will now use this

I love the service app this provides but PLEASE give me the ability to disable certain types of notifications. I don’t want to know about your offers or raffles. I want strictly important information.

I’ve been with animal friends insurance for 5 years and recently received an email inviting me to join this app. All was going well until the app won’t go past trying to “update my details” so frustrating. I will update the review if I can resolve this issue pretty quickly

Mixed experience
The app worked well. Needed to speak to a vet because the dog ate something he shouldn’t. All good from that point of view.
The main issue I have is the spam notifications with no way to turn them off. I’ve had to resort to fully turning off notifications for the app. Shame really.

Poor experience
App decided that my policy was no longer valid so wouldn’t let me access anything.
Insurer confirmed policy was still valid but due to restricted access I missed my consultation with Vet for my cats follow up apt.
As usual, no contact number apart from an email address so now having to wait 48hours to have someone investigate. Really unhelpful when you need to speak to a vet. Ended up going to my local vet as couldn’t wait for resolution. First time using it and won’t be rushing to do it again 😫

What’s the point?
I used this app on a few occasions. Every single time the app says “go see the vet”.
It’s pointless and instead of saving me time, it wastes my time.

Since Joii updated, I've been left out in the cold, even contacted my insurer, still no access even though I've used it in the past.
So after emailing Animal Friends & Joii over the last 6 days I've given up with even bothering.

Fantastic idea and execution
I used this for the first time today and it was very impressive. I wasn’t sure how thorough a check-up could be if it wasn’t in person, but was very happy with how it went. Quick, professional, friendly, and above all useful. Excellent app!
Waste of time
Requested a call, waited 25 minutes to get through to someone to be told I needed to request the call again.
Doesn’t work
Trying to use the app and just says there is an issue and won’t work
