User reviews

Okay, but not exactly what I was looking for

I like that I can set reminders and I like the haptic feedback. But, I wish I could personalize it more. I was given specific instructions for Kegels by my physical therapist, and it would be nice if I could make adjustments for the hold/release times. For example, I want to do 10 reps where I hold for 10 seconds then relax for 10 seconds. Then I want to do quicker hold 2 and relax 2 seconds for 10 reps.

Thank you for the update! I love the new change!!

We hear you JennyGirl88! We've improved our personalization options, and you can now set specific rep counts, hold times, and release times. Please let us know your thoughts and any additional feedback you might have here or at contact@karis.io. Thank you!

Apple Watch App leaves something to be desired

Nice app overall, I just wish the app on Apple Watch would keep the watch awake while running. All too often, I’ll start an exercise, only for the watch screen to go black and the vibration to stop. It’s a bit inconvenient to have to keep awkwardly move my wrist to keep the watch awake, especially since I’d prefer to multitask while doing an exercise. Otherwise, pretty nice app.

Response from developer

Glad you enjoy the app and thanks for bringing this issue to our attention! Please let us know what you think of our latest update, which should address the issue. While Apple won’t let us keep the screen on during an exercise, we were able to make it so the sound and vibration continues in the background. Feel free to contact us here or at contact@karis.io with any additional questions or feedback. Thank you again!

Please make the vibration stronger!

Excellent app and I love that I can use it on my Apple Watch during the day. I just wish the vibration was stronger because I have to look at it or else I don’t know when to squeeze and relax. Please make the vibration stronger and this will be a perfect app!

Response from developer

So glad you’re enjoying Karis Anthony! Apple doesn’t let us control vibration strength on the Watch, but it looks like you can control it through your settings: https://www.howtogeek.com/236815/how-to-make-your-apple-watch-vibrate-more-prominently/ . Does that resolve the issue? How do you like the phone haptics? The contract haptic plays at full intensity and sharpness, but the relax haptic is a bit more...relaxed🙂. Please feel free to contact us here or at contact@karis.io with any additional questions or feedback. Thank you!

Watch app doesn't sync correctly

Watch app doesn't work correctly. On the phone app I have it set to 10 reps, but for some reason I the watch, it keeps defaulting to 1. I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. It was working correctly for a few days, and then went back to the incorrect reps.

Response from developer

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Deniceger654! This issue should be resolved in the update we just released, version 1.1.1. Please let us know if that works. You can also reach out to us any time at contact@karis.io with additional feedback. (We love feedback!)
