App interface malfunction
I have been trying to access this app for over a month. Everything was fine and kickoff was working for me until this past month. There have been two version updates and I still cannot get the app to work. I don’t know why I Kikoff can’t fix it.

This is by far my favorite app not just credit app but app in general the functions and features that they have in this app makes car shopping home buying & reviving loans extremely easy I highly suggest this app for anyone that cares about credit or wants a great financial future.

Terrible company
My card was stolen a year ago. They took $1000 out of my account for Xbox subscription and I don’t own the Xbox and they’re still charging my card after I told them to remove it. No refund nothing.
My credit score is wrong
Every credit score reported on my Kickoff is wrong. I applied for a small loan to help pay to build a garage (about 12,000$ after my down payment) and was denied. The loan company sent me back a report that said my ACTUAL credit score was about 40 points lower than what kickoff shows. On Experian, trans union and equifax… all wrong. By A LOT. I’ve been paying for the 20$ a month credit line for over 6 months just started paying the extra 10$ a month for the credit builder loan. But if it’s not actually working WHAT AM I PAYING FOR ?

Fake credit building service! Do not trust! Don’t waste your time and money
This is my experience so understand that my review is based on my personal experience.
I used Kikoff for 2 years and Kikoff didn’t actually help build my credit. I applied for a credit card a couple of months ago thinking I had used the service enough and built solid credit based on my Kikoff stats. Additionally both Kikoff and Chime made me believe I was building credit through their services so I was okay paying for my subscription and having my deposits go to their bank in order to build credit but in the end it was all for nothing. When I applied for my credit card the bank sent me a notice that I couldn’t open my credit account because my credit profile was too thin and I didn’t have sufficient credit. I was confused so I scheduled an appointment to talk to a representative. What they told me was that Kikoff and Chime weren’t real credit builders. I wasted all this time with this service for no reason. I will not be recommending this to anyone and will let everyone who will listen about my experience.
THIS IS BASICALLY A SCAM. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A SERVICE THAT DOES NOT WORK.
This app deserves one star.
Also, I keep getting these messages in my email about my account being “charged off” and the Kikoff team basically saying that not paying off my balance will affect my credit but my balance is $0 and every time I open the app I am bombarded with prompts pushing me to reopen an account with Kikoff.
But I definitely don’t want to reopen anything with Kikoff and I know I don’t owe anything because I had automatic payments on and my balance is $0, so I don’t understand how this will affect my credit.
Overall, this was not a good experience.
