Barely functional
This app works for the purpose of using the scan to pay for things and send money. But, get ready to be constantly booted off the platform. The security settings are so tight that something as simple as switching from WiFi to mobile data too often will activate a security feature that basically interprets that activity as belonging to a different user. Only way to fix it is an in person visit to the bank.

How many times do I need to verify my identity?
It seems with every update I need to return to a branch to verify my identity AGAIN. Complete time sucker. Avoid this bank if you can.
Supremely frustrating
Randomly stops working with no notice in some updates, forced to spend hours in line at understaffed branches to verify identity to regain access to account. Happened 3 times so far. Very inconvenient.
Warning new security prodigals for money transfers
On about Oct 2025 there was a change in security procedures for this App with transferring money or paying by QR Code. Foreign accounts are restricted/limited to 1,000 baht transfer or QR code. I recently upgraded my phone and during the change the new security was applied when logging into new device. Going back to old phone would not fix the problem.
The fix ended up changing bank. To be able to pay by QR code or transfer more than 1,000 per incident. Be careful when changing/upgrading phones as this will happen to foreign bank account owners.
My passport was issued in 2017. Placing on top of the reader/scanner did not work I was nicely told I could no longer transfer out more than 1,000 baht.

Embarrassment
This is an embarrassment to call this a working app. I get errors often, unavailable please try later. That is a perfect error to get when you are trying to buy grocery and a line is formed behind. Fix this piece of garbage. Maybe the developers and IT department needs to be replaced. What is awful is that this app probably gets the best reviews of all the Thai banks. Sad, sad, sad.

No Thai names and update during use
Recipients cannot have Thai names. This is a remarkable limitation for a Thai bank.

Getting Worse
I use to think this app was ok and passable, now it bogs down and slow load get errors while I’m standing in line to make payments. Whatever they are doing to tweak this, stop, it’s bad enough. It’s a clown show. Just awful, customer service is no help. My phone service, is good, the cache is clear and my phone is newest model and operating system is fast. They are out of excuses for terrible app.

The bank and app are simply so bad - easily the worst in Thailand

Update
This app needs an update. The functions are fine, but the loading and opening time is ridiculous. I could be paying for a purchase and a line starts forming behind me as I wait for the app to open up. It’s embarrassing.
Request for next update
I would like to see a more user friendly platform for people with disabilities. The font on the app doesn’t adapt with the font size that I use to read basic text messages. Also, due to the aging population, this will also help them as well.
Cannot register
Done the process all the way to face scan and been waiting forever for the spinning processing. Doesn’t get anywhere after an hour.

No screenshots allowed of your own financial transactions
The app will block attempts to take screenshots. There is no disable for this and it seems pointless. We are adults and should be entrusted to capture our information how we feel best. This is necessary to get receipts of transactions and account reporting as there is no easy alternative to recording individual expenses other than monthly statements.

สำหรับคนที่อยู่ ตปท ที่ไม่มีซิมการ์ดเบอร์ที่ไทย พอกลับมา ตปท ซิมไม่ได้ใช้ ก็ไม่สามารถใช้แอพได้เลยเมื่อมีการอัพเดทแอพ เพราะต้อง Verify ผ่านเบอร์มือถือเท่านั้น ระบบโคตรห่วยเลย จะมีอีเมลไว้ทำมะเขือไร ทั้งๆที่เราสามารถยืนยันตัวตนด้วยบัตรประชาชนและพาสปอร์ตได้อยู่แล้ว
