Nice and clean app
I like how this is easy to use. Very clean looking. My only issue for not giving 5 stars is the lack of being able to forward my trip info to anyone directly from the app.
The Transit app is better
I was excited to try this app after several years of the Transit app. I’m glad Metro finally has an official platform, but it’s not as evolved. One difference is this app doesn’t show you where the buses are before they get to your stop. The Transit app isn’t always accurate with that, and I’m pretty sure they use other riders’ location data to facilitate that function, but it’s still nice to have. The Transit app also asks questions about the bus or rail stops, the faith you have in bus and train arrival times, your level of confidence in safety, etc. etc. I don’t know that they report all of that info to Metro, but it’s nice to feel like someone might be caring at some point
I hope that this app eventually evolves some of those relationship building functions.

Metro never changes
This app is horrible, says bus is 5 minutes away next thing you know is been another 20 mins of waiting. Two different lines I’ve waited over 20 minutes for says leaving now yet neither one is at the station and is nowhere to be seen
Far Better For Transit Than Google Maps
Honestly this app is great. The best thing by far is that it offers you a wider variety of more convenient transit routes than the transit tab on Google Maps has. Also this app has a similarly accurate arrival time estimation and shows you the live location of your bus. AND unlike Google, this app doesn’t present you with a route that logically seems most convenient and then hides that route from you 10 minutes later when you reopen the app. The navigation software is quite accurate as well in tracking where you are and where your bus is

It’s out of control
Line E is dirty, smells bad most of the time. Sodas all over the floor and you can imagine when walking on it first thing in the morning!
The LA Metro authorities CANNOT control it & they need to be changed to more capable people. Not even mentioning the cigarette smoking, Pot smoking & the very loud music that’s been played everyday on LA Metro!!!!

Garbage app
You can tell zero effort was put into this one and obviously overpaid for under skilled developers. You’d get a better functioning app from a middle schooler using AI than whatever this is they paid millions for. Save yourself the headache and just use Google Maps
No schedule
I just want this app to be easier. I don’t know my estimated day or time of travel. I just want a schedule of the entire antelope valley line with all stops and times for every day that I can choose between.
Almost Pleasant
Took K line today and was pleasant ride, then a rider got on blasting music at Hyde Park stop, the two LA metro employees just waved and said nothing; all passengers on train were instantly annoyed especially Korean tourist on the way to a Fifa game. If staff is t going to do anything about rowdy riders then no one is going to take the metro…

Not user friendly
It always wants to route me through unsafe area. I have a specific route I like to take because it’s a safe route. Even though I know it’s possible because that is the route I go, it wont show it as a possible option. There are more ways together places than just what this app says. We should be able to say what route(s) we WANT to go.

Good for time info but not directions
This app will give you the right bus and time I go but if you use the navigation, it does not ensure you are on the proper corner and gave me wrong information for the 28 Century City line. It cost me to miss my bus cus I was standing where it told me to vs across the street where it actually is. And I only went across the street because there isn’t even a metro stop where it told me to wait, but like a dummy…I waited. lol. Great otherwise.

Finally!
Honestly, this app is rad. I love seeing the live train and bus locations!!! I don’t have to guess if my ride is 2 mins away or 20 mins away. The throne restrooms are also useful but I’d love to see my access code within the app, so please look into making an upgrade for that.
LAX directions are terrible
The app says get on a bus upper level. There are no busses. The column downstairs says it stops there. Again no busses. Terrible directions
Not accurate
The Live Location feature is not accurate at all. The overall user experience is not great. Very buggy, very glitchy. The only reason I downloaded this is for the Love Location feature to see where my bus is and I’ve been told my bus is 10 mins away for 30 minutes, the bus icon keeps jumping from 1 stop away to never departed

Response from developer
Hi Jordan, we’re continuously working on improving the app as well as our real-time tracking data. Thank you for trying the app and for your feedback.
Unfriendly ,
No logistics
Great App! Glad you moved away from the user paid Transit App
For an initial release, this app has all the core features I was hoping for and more! Looking forward to future updates.
It never made sense for LA Metro to move to the third party “Transit” app and have users pay for the important features that made the app useful. The $240k savings on Metro’s end was not worth putting the burden on its riders to pay.
Keep this app team funded!

Very dangerous at night
Metro has a D line that is new and clean and shiny and only has seven stops. On the other hand, the A line is dirty, stinky, and dangerous, especially at night. You will enjoy the A-line Metro experience of watching drunk people fight, men peeing between the cars, passengers smoking pot, and selling drugs. If you are a woman, you need to carry protection because there is a lot of sexual harassment that occurs on this train and you will be approached by creepy dudes. There is never Security on the train and the hotlines do not respond. Be extremely careful when riding the A-line, especially at night.

Transit is better
Not sure why you had us switched to Transit and then took it away from us, only to give us an inferior app. It is bloated with so much BS that I can’t customize out of. An effective transit app should not need a tutorial at any point to learn how to use it. Stations should be prioritized over points of interest in search results. I want the option to only have the rail system, but I get buses, no matter where I go in the app, despite having opted out of that. And somehow the orange line is not grouped with the rail system as it should be. Not worth the headache.

Great app!
It’s easy, clear and convenient. I love it.
Exceptional Transit App for Metro!
I’ve tried so many different transit apps to get around on the Metro, but I always find myself confused and not liking the UI. This app has a visually pleasing and intuitive UI! It’s got great commuting features, and I feel like I can rely on this apps accuracy since it’s straight from the MTA (LA Metro). Been waiting for this for so long, and I’m so glad it’s finally here.

Excellent debut!
It takes testing teamwork and communication to make an app easy to use. Kudos to the teams involved
