Works beautifully!

We have been frustrated with our Wayzn opener for some time, and after lots of research, decided to go with SmartSlydr. Game. Changer. With the app we have precise control on how far the door opens…anything from an inch to fully open! Wish we had upgraded years ago.

Was a 5 till the style update

The new update doesn’t seem any different functionally but they made it incredibly bland to look at. 4/5 for the function alone you lose a point for the look and feel of the update. I’d revert back if I could.

Lanier

Excellent. Our lives easier with the lychee patio door opener. The support for this product is extremely excellent. You have a problem their support team is working on it along side you to solve the problem! Highly recommend!

Works

The app UI looks like it’s been designed by a (slightly blind) 5 year old, but I have to say it works very well and it’s actually quite usable too. Alexa integration worked well too.

Needs a review

The SmartSlydr worked great for a few hours, but then it started randomly opening and closing on its own. I removed it from the app and unpaired the accessories, expecting to just re-add it. Now the device won’t show up at all when trying to add it back through the app.

I followed all the recommended steps — unpaired remotes, reinstalled the app, power-cycled the unit — but nothing works. When I reached out for help, I found out that the only way to perform a factory reset is by pressing a tiny hidden button located behind the unit, which means physically taking it down.

That’s completely unrealistic. The device was professionally installed using adhesive as recommended, and removing it would likely damage both my sliding door and the product.

No smart home device should require disassembly just to reset it. Until LycheeThings provides a reasonable, user-friendly way to reset or reconnect the device, I cannot recommend this product — and I won’t be buying another.

Response from developer

Thank you for your detailed feedback, and we're sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced. Please be assured that SmartSlydr is designed with bank-level encryption and multi-layered access control, so any door activity is always tied to a recognized command — whether from the PetPass, app, or voice assistant. You can review all door activity through the app’s event log, which shows when and how the door was triggered. As for the reset process, you do not need to remove the device. You can reach the reset button by manually sliding the door open and feeling along the back — no disassembly required. We're always here to help and wish you'd contacted our support team earlier. We value your input and are continuously working to make SmartSlydr even more user-friendly.

A bit glitchy

After the latest app update, the stays shows offline, but I am still able to control my sliding door with it.

Response from developer

Sorry for the inconvenience. We are releasing the new app soon to fix the issue. Meanwhile, you can use the refresh button in the top corner.

Must have for every home

It was super easy to install and works flawlessly with Alexa as well.

It’s very convenient to control the door opening without standing up from the couch.

App is getting better with new updates.
