Feels like AI based app. I could be better, it’s not as great as in looks.

It uses the same muscles names for every specific workout. Which, I do kinda like it uses the scientific name. But it doesn’t help when you want to workout specific parts of your muscles. Like example: for chest it uses the same muscle and all the workouts don’t specify which part of the chest is being worked out. Like I would really like if it said stuff like “upper chest” “lower chest” but it doesn’t specify, its just says the whole chest because technically yeah they all have the same scientific name. Not only that you see multiple of the same looking exercises with a bit of a different name but it would work out same thing on your body. The same looking workouts as you scroll constantly makes it feel like you’re not getting anywhere which feels like it’s more ran by an AI rather than real people. Which, I don’t have a problem but if you want authentic its not really giving that vibe here.

Great app for tracking my routine! I’m just not sure if the premium version is worth it yet.

Awesome

I use this to improve my technique when lifting. Very good. It would be nice if the videos came with step by step instructions as well for those who are more auditory learners.

Response from developer

Thanks, glad the videos are helping your technique. Many exercises already have written instructions along with the video, but step-by-step cues for people who learn better by listening make a lot of sense. Add it under Settings → Get Help → Feature Request so it lands on our list. Kjell from Lyfta

BEST APP

Best app for the gym! It makes things so easy to track. I am a beginner at the gym and it also helps with knowing what exercises I need to do to train certain muscles. I gotta say, the exact muscles they said I would be training are the exactly muscles that were sore the best day! Seriously so excited to be getting into the gym with this app

Response from developer

Thanks, really glad Lyfta is making the gym easier to start, and that the muscle map matched the soreness. If there's anything that would make it a 5 for you, add it under Settings → Get Help → Feature Request. Good luck with the training! Kjell from Lyfta

Theft

They make it impossible to gain access to the cancel subscription button

Response from developer

Sorry the cancel option was hard to find. iOS subscriptions are managed by Apple, so you cancel in iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and Lyfta. If you get stuck, email support@lyfta.app. Kjell from Lyfta
