Locking screen
I have been enjoying the Marks & Spencer’s banking app for a number of years. Today every time I logon, I can see my pending transactions and scroll down, but then the screen completely locks and I can’t scroll up or down and I can’t actually any further transactions because I can’t click load. I can’t click on anything. Contacted Marks & Spencer and and they have no clue. Very disappointing lack of customer service.

Terrible app. Typical British bank errors
Tried to registered with the app more than 15 times over a span of 2 weeks. No luck. Called and spent 45 mins to discuss what phone I'm using and what OS I currently have... then went to ask about my exact name. Maybe adding a middle name would make a difference. Guess what - they don't even know what's what. All other CC work perfectly and immediately. No help with this one. Avoid at all costs.

No way to change DD in App
Really? It’s 2026 and I cannot adjust my direct debit amount for my card within the app. Turns out I have to fill in an online form with all my details that are already in the app. Very secure. Probably going to cancel the card.

My printer does not want to print the statements from my IPhone. Can you send me hard copies by email instead, starting with Jul 2026?

The only complaint I have with this app, is when I’m checking a spend it doesn’t tell me what department I’ve spent in, all I get is groceries 🤔

Absolutely terrible! You have scan codes that you can’t scan on your phone. You are so old fashioned!!! Drives me mad trying to pay online
