Worst App
I’m not sure how they make money when the app doesn’t allow purchases. I have been trying to purchase $3000 worth of flight tickets for 2 adults for weeks. First, it did not allow me to purchase for 2 and keep showing price for 1 adult. Then, when I finally have the free time to attempt the purchase again. It doesn’t even allow me to get to payment page. I had all my card details ready, yet they’re so adamant on not taking my money. Never had this much trouble with all other international airlines. Better off spending my money with SIA, always a smooth transaction.

Awful
The worst airline app I have ever used. So slow, won’t load, logs you out. No way to contact people
Passport scan problem
Malaysian passport does not separate given name from surname and MAS check in categorises that info under surname. Hence received error message that name does not match booking

Pointless but required
This mess of an app is needed if you want to confirm anything bought online but there moment it comes to try to do anything for convenience like advanced check in, it blocks you with no explanation. Pointless to use, but needed all the same. Honestly do whatever you want, i don't expect you to get better

Worst airline app
Worst app ever. So hard to use. Takes ages to load. So hard to login. I can’t even login. Difficult to navigate. Really poorly thought out, just like all of MAS services.
Awful
The app is jarring and non intuitive. Finding a booking for example requires you to search with your booking reference and surname, after an age it redirects to a second page for you to enter your booking reference and surname yet again, only this time the continue button fails to work. Not sure why after logging in with username and password and entering in an OTP, I then need to receive another OTP code to edit my details. It’s slow and unhelpful, I simply gave up and used the website.

Full service airline fares but budget airline service
Recently flew with Malaysia airlines on business from MEL to KUL I was treated as a secondary passenger maybe I was the only two Asians on the flight while the others gets look after with the full package( bread refills, constant checking in if they need to have their beverages topped up) while I have to request for all of these and my milk tea was totally forgotten until a third reminder to the chief cabin crew.
Economy within Malaysia is just as bad, the crew are either tired / being trained or hated their job . I was even told to help a crew out to crush her plastic bottles during meal collection and the inflight entertainment /meals were lacking.
I would definitely choose to fly air Asia with all the add ons which is far greater value for flying within Malaysia than Malaysia Airlines. What a shame for an airline that started Singapore Airlines

Almost unusable
As an experienced traveller who works in technology, I have to say trying to sign up to this service was nigh on impossible. It wouldn’t allow use of standard email addresses (reason unknown; no explanation given); then tried using Gmail (didn’t provide option for use of Passkey so had to reset my Gmail account!); then sent various messages to my mobile (some worked and some didn’t, within time limits). Quite astounding. I was wondering if their app had been hacked as it was so bad it seemed hard to believe. For Devs: using iPhone 16; latest iOS; accepted cookies for shell app etc.
