I can’t always start the dryer remotely. It allows me to select the program but I can’t press start
Worst app ever
After spending a hour trying to get this app to connect to my new washer, this is not user error it’s connectivity and app ux issues.
Bluetooth just spins, once it finds the device it says it can’t connect and I need to delete and reconnect: endless loop, Groundhog Day.
So slow, so slow, Finally tried restarting everything, tried again, same issue. Giving up. Not worth it.
Get this fixed plz. I would like an alternate way to make a custom cycle… but the app issues now don’t allow me to

Laundry Symbols Chart
Great app, has a stain guide but would like to see a laundry symbols chart on app as well.
Doesn’t connect
Wouldn’t connect. Maybe because one other person is already connected? If yes, they don’t state it
Hands down, the WORST washer I’ve EVER OWNED
Filter is accessible if you disassemble the front of the machine; open and reach through the back; or call someone out that can repair / clear the filter. Washer has the LONGEST washing time ever invented on a residential washing machine. Despite the advertising, this is NOT for people who have pets. It has been serviced at least 7 times since purchase…on 12/18/2024. Does not clean clothes well. Their customer service is garbage. Wished this worked as well as their dishwasher.

Cant get past the startup screen
Just displays a blue screen that says “maytag”.
Wireless remote
I like the remote start capability however I don’t like that the dryer has to be in remote start “ON” in order to do it. The only way to make sure that it stays in remote start ON position is you have to be home to make sure button is pressed! To me, that defeats the purpose of starting the dryer while I’m at the store, work or out somewhere.

Worst washer and dryer ever ever.
If you want clothes are still dirty and wet after you wash and dry them and is constantly shutting off mid cycle because it’s off balance then this is the machine for you if not stay away. 0 stars would not recommend. This is not your parents Maytag.

I am very much enjoying having smart appliances. Easy control from my phone. And this pet pro set is amazing with my two dogs.

Love the Maytag App
I absolutely love the Maytag App. Being able to multitask and knowing the app will let me know when the cycles are done, allowing me to maximize my time.
Alarm!
I love the app, use it every time I do laundry. I just wish it had dual alarms, one for 10 minutes before the wash is done (to give time to empty out the dryer) and another when the wash finishes (in case the dryer didn’t need emptying). I set a timer for this but it would be nice if it was a feature within the app.

Not easy
Took a few times and finally got it set up. But didn't see the control on setting up start time and task assignment on washer, like normal wash first and then drain and rinse. Not very good feature as expected for nowadays.
Bad experience
I find the app to be very glitchy and it has a lot of small issues that make the experience almost unbearable.

Exhausting
Anytime there is an upgrade it kicks everything off the app and you have to keep Adding your appliances. I don’t know 50 ways from Sunday I keep pressing the correct appliance it can’t find them. Bluetooth is enabled Wi-Fi is enabled everything is enable this app find an elephant in a box. Just a waste of time.

Will Not Pair
The latest update 10.0 my dryer will not pair. I even created a separate 2.5 sign in and turned off the dryer from the circuit breaker box and it still

Why?
Once again with latest application update we are required to change our password because the app loses it when updated. Tired of this!! Since the app does not use Apple iPhone passwords we are required to save the password somewhere else. What could happen if the password were compromised and someone else could wash and dry our clothes. Really? The developer needs to fix this so that an app update does not lose the password.

Don’t recommend
The app causes error messages to my machines and glitches. We have been through customer service and had techs come out and recommend to disconnect and reconnect our phone and redownload the app. The local technicians said they are seeing a lot of glitches between the software for the app and the machines where many people are calling or having their machines malfunction. My biggest regret is ever buying a Maytag machine and one that needs an app or has that feature anymore. My machine hardly works. Will be taking it back and never touching a Maytag again.
