Check deposits
Takes too long to process mobile deposits. I’m used to having my funds available the next business day with Wells Fargo. Considering switching back to Wells Fargo because of this
Lost transaction
Just started banking with Mercury, the first international wire we were supposed to receive was lost, customer service has not yet found the transaction for over a month, even though it is registered as completed on the other bank. Nobody to talk to on customer service who can help. Very disappointing first experience.

Not what it used to be
I used to be very happy with Mercury, but unfortunately the experience has gone downhill.
I’ve been dealing with an issue involving a discrepancy related to a money market fund conversion. Mercury has acknowledged that the problem is on their side, yet more than a week later, I’m still waiting for someone to properly investigate and resolve it.
Every day I’ve been told that someone will look into it or get back to me, but nothing actually moves forward. At the time of writing, the issue remains unresolved.
Banking is critical to any business, and when something goes wrong, you need to know your bank will take ownership and act quickly. That simply hasn’t been my experience here.
I genuinely liked Mercury, which makes this particularly disappointing. At this point, I’m questioning whether choosing a startup bank for our business was the right decision.

“Something went wrong” every time I try to sign in with a passkey? And asking for a backup code instead of a normal 2fa code when I sign in with a password? I need to access my companies money I have people to pay!

Too Slow for Modern Business
I’ve been disappointed with Mercury. The bank feels very slow overall. Transfers take too long, there’s no Zelle support, and the IO card takes a long time to reflect funds from my account. Overall, it feels like an outdated banking platform that hasn’t kept up with modern business banking needs.
Need a PayPal type payment

Literally stopped working won’t log in customer care didn’t even reply. Super terrifying when you have money in this application.

If you have any problems you have to deal with an AI chat bot and then a human via chat . I am glad I did not put more money in , because if you have a problem there is no help
Don’t bother
Recently opened an account as I’m creating a startup. I funded the startup account with my own money. The startup is legally registered as an LLC in Delaware. I started connecting the account to 3rd party platforms like WeFunder. And then suddenly, Mercury decided to close my account – with zero notice! They mailed a check with I have no way of depositing anywhere since *duh* my account was just closed. I wrote and provided all the legal documentation and paperwork proving my business is legitimate. No response.

Anticipation
I have had many bank accounts, and this is my first experience with a bank that anticipates my needs and set up a clear path and design for me to understand how the flow of my money is functioning. It also sets up automatic payments in certain way so that I can not be burdened with excessive administration and everything seems to be in the right place. I would also indicate that it occurs to me there's many more things that I can do with my relationship with Mercury that require me to be as smart as my bank and make use of them so I can learn
