Ordered 7 10l water bottles. Price came to 930 with 100 tip. Arrived 2 bottles. They cancelled most of the order. So ended up paying 530 pesos for 2 bottles of water.

Consistent Bugs Now
I’ve been using MetroMart a little over 2 years now. I think the UI is great and the grocery selections are pretty nice. However, bugs have been pretty consistent now; the app crashes if you add more than 5 of the same product, and sometimes it stops working overall refusing to open the app. I get a message saying to update the app, but I go to the App Store and it’s already updated to the latest version. More room for improvements I guess. Hope they fix it soon!

Shady company
They charge when you order. If they are out of stock on something you have to wait a couple of weeks to get reimbursed. If they charged after they picked the order it would solve this. Frozen food is thawed out by the time you receive the order. Other than that it’s ok.
No address
My apartment complex is four years old and their map shows previous business so I can’t add my address for delivery. They need to update their map then I can use their app.
Current order gone!
After spending time adding items into the cart and getting my otp to pay via card, it was taking forever to go on to the next step. I waited until I pressed on the option to manually return to the merchant….. well then my order didn’t push through and there is no way to add everything back to the cart. Help center was useless

Wasted an hour opening an account and shopping only to not be able to check out.
Beyond Frustration!
I could not imagine how their support could get worst. I placed an order yesterday, Dec 22 at 10AM and they promised to delivery it in 2hrs but instead it got delivered today, Dec 23 at 12PM. My shopper complained that my items are too big for a motorcycle so I had to pick it up at the mall itself and spend money for my ride. Then the worst part is that my shopper complained again that he has no change for my payment so I had to spend again a bank transfer fee to pay him. The app mandatory charges you a tip of P150 and a delivery fee but their service and their customer support is hell. Trust me, it is as bad as I narrated it. I had to uninstall it so I can never use their service again.

I have used Metromart on many occasions and there was never a time that everything I ordered was complete! There’s always calls from the shopper saying that several items that aren’t available in-store, but shows up on stock in the app! What’s worse is the amount for the unavailable items has already been charged and finalized in the card and will take time to be reversed. For an app that’s used my plenty of people, Metromart has remained lazy! Get your inventory updated! Remove the autotip because I don’t think this amount REALLY goes to the shoppers and riders.

I have been an fan of online and has been using their service for 5 yrs and just this year. Their service is very poor. Always late delivery and not advising the clients if they can deliver you orders or not. I will deleting my app now and will move other online shopping app that can provide excellent service

Half the Items Out of Stock
Excitedly spent time setting up my first order. Hours later I’m told by the picker that they’ve completed my order but over HALF the items were out of stock. What was the point of me using this app? I Cancelled my order and uninstalled the app. There’s no point developing a grocery app unless you can guarantee the customer will receive the products. Other countries can do it. I shopped online with Tescos UK back in the late 90’s and even then, 25 years ago, they didn’t have the issues this app does.

Why is it that when ever you cannot deliver to the preferred time you don’t update the buyer? This is the second time this happened. What’s the point of making the buyer choose a specific time and not deliver their orders? Sometimes we have to wait for HOURS just for our orders to be cancelled . You’re suppose to make our life easier hence this is why the app was made, but instead you gave us headache after headache! You even have the nerve to increase the shopping fee and delivery fee and this is what we get? Late or cancelled orders? Stop making excuses and just be upfront and tell the consumers the truth. If you cannot deliver on time, tell them immediately! I ordered my groceries for 11-12pm, it never arrived! You messaged me through my email at 7pm just to tell me for my order to be re scheduled?! What a horrible experience!

They had me wait for three hours for my groceries only to be advised that it can not be delivered due to lack of man power. No one reached out to me, I had to be the one to contact the shopper, the chat support, and the email support just to find out the status and low and behold all the wait and hassle was for nothing. And this is not the first time that this happened. This is way beyond inconsiderate, rude, and a blatant disrespect to their customer’s time and business. So today, they lost mine. If you want to be continuously disappointed and frustrated download this app. Guaranteed to provide untrustworhy and unreliable customer service and mediocre to pathetic execution. If you want your groceries late or canceled after waiting then this is the app for you. If you want something reliable.. go elsewhere.

Good luck using your international credit card with MetroMart. I had no problem during the pandemic using one particular card and then all of a sudden it stopped working. So I switched to a second international credit card, and that seem to be fine for a short while as well. But here we are today running through four different credit cards, and none of them will be accepted by MetroMart. They are from four different banks. This tells me that it is not, as the pop-up message suggests, because my bank has denied the charge. This tells me that MetroMart and their an entire system is useless. In fact, just to make sure that they were the ones that were useless, I called all four of my banks, and they confirmed there was no issue on their end. The charge never even reached them. Should you decide to reach out to MetroMart for help on this matter, I also wish you the best of luck. You will not get help and therefore you will not be able to order from MetroMart, just like me.
