Clicking on my reservation is met with something went wrong. Please try again repeatedly.
As the title says, this has been going on for weeks with no fix in sight. I cannot get details on my reservation unless I go to trips and click under there. On the main page it just errors out and clicking try again does absolutely nothing to fix it.

App rarely works for check in
This app rarely works for mobile check in at Mandalay Bay. It shows mobile check in available initially. The actual check in never works, which asks to call the front desk.

This App Works Wonderfully
I am a frequent Vegas visitor and a member of all the loyalty programs across the strip.
MGM gives me room offers that include free play and resort credit, that is a big plus, and usually influences my decision to stay at their properties. Sometimes the offer of free play and resort credit cancel out the resort fees and it’s like a full comp with the chance to win more.
I like that I can “check in” 48 hours prior to arrival. This makes it so when I do arrive I have a good chance of being able to check in without waiting in line and make my own digital keys or use my phone as my key.
When I book a trip to one of their properties I get a challenge goal during that trip that boosts my tier level or reward credits, I’ve done that successfully several times.
Lastly, a benefit of this app shows me how my rewards points were accrued. I see the type of spend, and the points earned. No other loyalty program provides this data.

Still don’t have my key and will need to go to front desk
Beware
While it does not warn you during set up, you must use your full legal name when signing up for rewards or nothing will work as expected. (I use my middle name for everything include all other rewards accounts with no issue) Once the account is created you can only make updates in person at a rewards desk so I can’t use any of the features I signed up to get in the first place. Unnecessary headache with an easy fix. Hope they update the system.

Can’t use app
Can’t use app it tells me to download the new version but my phone is too old. In that case usually it would let you download an older copy but within this it does not. Tragic.
Horrible check in at Mandalay Bay
Booked a weekend room for wife and I. We arrive after a 6hr flight + 3hr delay only to be welcome by a 1hr wait in their lobby check in. Was hoping to use this app but it is unable to find my reservation. Tried searching for it by our check in/out dates as well as confirmation number. Keep getting the same error message “reservation not found”. Be ready to be truly welcome by MGM resorts’ hospitality.

Useless app
This pile of garbage is incapable of the simple task of verifying my identity. A complete waste of time while attempting a simple hotel check-in. Pathetic.

Too difficult!
Trying to find answers about Freeplay is next to impossible with one person spinning you to the next person. I have Freeplay that appears and disappears on the same week, sometimes the same day! I really like MGM properties and go out of my way to give them my business. But the Rewards system is terrible to use! In person, a Rewards Desk will also do the same spin.

Arrival/Check in sucks
No carts to carry stuff anywhere near ride share. Had to leave all my stuff by the curb while I go to get a cart. Then can’t check in on the kiosks since my roommate already did but a person can check me in. Make it make sense? Why?? Both our names are on the reservation why can’t I just get a key and go in? How much money do ya’ll have and you can’t even do these easy things?
