Glitches
It glitches all the time. Some days I can not get it to open in my phone
So. Many. UX. Misses.
Unable to undo accidentally closed tasks (much less find them after you do accidentally close them as you cannot filter or sort by completed date… does anyone even work on this app? It literally hasn’t changed at all in years.
Missing search capability
I add tasks to the Task list and then pick which ones to add to M Day. I’d like to be able to search the lists.
Share URL Doesn’t E.
It’s a decent app, but you cannot Star a task when first entering it. Even worse, you can’t enter a time. TickTick lets you do all that and more. Share URL doesn’t work with Safari or IMDb. You get a ridiculous “You must sign in” message. It’s the only app in which the Share doesn’t work.
The thing that I really love though is the readability and attractiveness of the main task screens. Beautiful. That’s why I give 3 instead of 1 star.

Long Time User, Done With the App
As someone who has used this application since before Microsoft acquired it and been making changes, I am finally switching to something else. The slow grind to this app becoming bloated and useless compared to the simple and effective application it used to be is exhausting.
Poor performance
Poor performance the more data you put in the app. I expect better from Microsoft
To Do Useful but Basic
Needs the ability to search tasks in just the list you are currently viewing, not just a global list
Adding lists
When you touch the screen anywhere near the marker for adding a new list the app minimizes and automatically creates two lists.
Action list
Great platform and easy to use, integrates with your team’s to do list and email!

I need and use it all the time!
Used to be great. Now it lags and there’s no support. I prefer to pay for higher quality
App lags, links outdated, and no one in Microsoft cares about this app, because it’s free. When you write notes they sometimes being erased

Sorting Issue
Won’t Sort by Date / Time. So my daily routine isn’t by time of day. Bummer because on a widget PM tasks may show & AMs won’t until later in the day.
Buggy
I love this app for a lot of reasons and I’ve been using it for years, but sometimes the bugs are ROUGH. Lately when I drag items to a different list they move there fine initially, then disappear completely at some point later on. Having tasks disappear randomly pretty much negates the point of the point of using this app, I hope this bug is sorted out soon.

Microsoft To Do is the perfect solution to tasks that repeat daily. I enjoy its options, especially the option to set the number of times and tasks. It is simple to use.

Incredibly Slow
I want to love this app but it is so incredibly slow to respond to an input that it has become almost unbearable. On an iPhone 17 it regularly takes 15 seconds from finger tap to input being registered.
The popup and widget inputs are also useless. You can mark a task complete via a notification popup only to have it still listed as outstanding/not complete when you launch the app later.
Fix the issues!

Not always works
The app is good but for my day it never works and takes a long time to work again 😢
