Unnecessarily complicated
So completely annoyingly complicated to set up and use.

Extremely disappointed with the onboarding experience. I’ve only just purchased my appliance and created a Miele account, yet I’m completely unable to log into the app. Every attempt results in the message: “Authentication failed. Your login session has expired. Please login again.”
I’ve tried on both my iPhone and iPad, re-entered my credentials multiple times and the issue persists. This appears to be a problem with Miele’s authentication system rather than anything I’m doing.
For a premium brand, I’d expect the connected services to work out of the box. At the moment, I’m unable to use any of the smart features that were part of the reason for purchasing the appliance.
I hope someone from Miele customer support sees this and contacts me promptly with a solution, because this is a very poor first impression.

App doesn’t work anymore
The app is clunky but it worked for everyone when we got our washing machine. Now a year later it doesn’t show the washing machine anymore and when trying to re-register it says it is registered to another account. Tried deleting account but needed password. Password not automatically saved the last time this happened as miele’s url is IoT-Miele. Did a password reset but can’t login - says temporarily locked out….
It was faster to just use the washing machine controls. There’s no joy in using this app.

Washer is a piece of junk
Brand new washer refuses to SAVE setup. Asks for setup every time it is powered on. Will not start a cycle. Piece of junk. Do not buy Miele!
What a failure for an app linked to the top Miele oven!
I have the top Model oven and this app does not display or let me set/change the 2 minute minders! I have to get up and set it at the oven! I demand this is fixed on the next release!
