Frustrated
The build quality of the robot is great. (The side brushes only occasionally spin, but generally good otherwise. Cleans well.)
However, the app is absolute rubbish and since the last update I have not been able to connect to the robot.I have to use the robot without app interface as I have given up. Can’t get the robot to update firmware now either. Immer Besser?. I think it should be try harder.

Worst App EVER!
I’d have rated it a zero if that were an option. Doesn’t work reliably nor CONSISTENTLY! I’ve tried for the past year.
I’m used to working around the flaws of a disfunctional app but this one is impossible. AND what’s insulting is the company’s replay to an another poor review about continuous improvement but it’s been TWO YEARS since the last update! Astounded for a German company known for their quality and innovation!!!

Weak server
For several weeks, the servers doesn’t work and I can’t use my robot in the application. That is really annoying because I always have to arrive home in order to activate the robot. Weak application!
Wifi connection...
I tried many ways to get connected to RX2 but it keeps rejecting connection. So disappointed ☹️ Just purchased a RX3, it works flawlessly 🙏
iOS 26 exige une réinstallation
L’app ne se connecte plus au serveur de Miele et il est impossible de modifier les zones, etc. après l’installation d’iOS 26. Il faut effacer, réinstaller l’app puis se reconnecter au serveur de Miele.
Extreme Verbindungsprobleme mit dem WLAN
Ich hatte bereits vor ca. zwei Monaten Kontakt zum Miele-App-Service. Seitdem ich mein Handy vom iPhone11 auf iPhone16Pro gewechselt habe, gibt es o. g. Probleme. Nach dem Firmware-Update schien alles zu funktionieren der Staubsauger wurde in der App angezeigt und hatte sich auch ganz kurz im Netzwerk angemeldet … leider beim nächsten Einschalten des Staubsaugers wurde er nur noch als „Offline“ angezeigt. Also nochmal alles von vorn beginnen - gefühlt zwanzig Mal! Staubsauger-Reset, App löschen, neuer Verbindungsversuch … ohne Erfolg😡 … irgendwann habe ich dann aufgegeben und den Roboter nur noch per Hand gesteuert „Start“ und fertig. Aber dafür kauft man sich ja kein so teures Gerät🙁. Letzter Versuch heute: In der Fritz!Box die Verschlüsselung auf WPA + WPA2 geändert. War vorher - empfohlen - WPA2 (CCMP). Staubsauger-Reset, App neu installiert und … nach zwei Fehlversuchen funktioniert jetzt die Verbindung zum WLAN, CloudService und App. Sobald ich die Verschlüsselung wieder ändere, fliegt der Staubsauger aus dem WLAN 😡. Es scheint also ein Kompatibilitätsproblem mit dem WPA2 (CCMP) und dem iOS 18.6.x zu sein - denn wie gesagt mit dem alten iOS vom iPhone11 gab es diese Probleme nicht🤷♂️

Great hardware. Dismal software
Clunky to pair. Maps inconsistent to load Miele support is poor. It just seems that one team developed the hardware and nailed the brief and then subcontracted the app development to illiterate monkeys. An app this poor should be constantly upgraded and fixed. Nothing like that is happening.
Is there any sign or hint of software update. ?

Uygulama ile eşleşmiyor.
Süpürgeyi uygulaması ile bir türlü eşleştiremedim. Sürekli “ sunucu bağlantı hatası” veriyor.
Incredibly hard to work
I have tried several times in the past few years of owning this machine to pair it with the app. Each time, I give up extremely frustrated. I feel like we haven’t gotten the use we paid for out of the scout bc we can’t pair it up with app. And we bought it because of the brand and the great reputation.

Painful
The app seems painfully slow and a bit buggy. Sometimes I have to quit the app and then try the same thing again and it works instantly. This happens multiple times. Such a same as the RX3 I just got seems brilliant. I just wish it was easier to I.e select a room for it to clean

Δεν συνδέεται ποτέ με την σκούπα. Οι επιλογές ελάχιστες η κάμερα άθλια εικόνα από το έτος 2000.Πεταμενα 800 ευρώ σε μια σκούπα που κάνει ότι θέλει χωρίς να μπορείς να κάνεις σωστά καθοδήγηση. Σοβαρά όμως εκεί στην miele ίσως θα πρέπει να λάβετε σοβαρά την αλλαγή αντικειμένου απασχόλησης.
Doesn’t connect
After 30 minutes of trying and deleting and trying again and insuring I’m using the 2.4g as stated, no luck. Easier to use the remote it came with.
Unreliable
We’ve had a very difficult time with our Miele Scout vacuum. We want to like it, and we want it to help with the job we hired it to perform. Its vacuum functionality actually works well. But everything else is 3rd rate or worse. It gets stuck all of the time. In fact, it gets hung up so frequently that we’ve never been able to get it to map even half of our modest home. To make matters worse, this app is frustrating and unreliable. For weeks now, it says it can’t connect to the server when I try to re-add the vacuum that it somehow forgot about. It’s a shame that Miele can’t get the rest of their ecosystem up to the quality of their appliances.

La app dovrebbe permettere di controllare il robot da remoto, peccato lo faccia una volta ogni tre. Dopo 6 mesi di utilizzo ho dovuto cancellarla e installarla nuovamente

Good can be great
It does what it says it does. But occasionally every 2 or 3 months I have to redo the product registration on my app.
App is not working
I’m unable to connect to the server, cannot login, cannot connect to the cleaner
Five years in and the app is still garbage
Update February 2025… I still hate this app. It has nothing to do with the phone. I keep buying new phones and the app hasn’t changed now it’s the first time I’m trying to use it on the 16 Pro the app loads, but the map doesn’t want to load. I have already deleted the app two times and reinstalled it I don’t understand. Why can you not make proper software? Why do you continue to employ people who do not know what they’re doing as a German company. This is an embarrassing, pathetic no excuse …..
You constantly strive to do better you say yet you do nothing. I have had the RX 2 over 5 years. thank God the machine is amazing but the app software has not changed and is still a disaster and I’m sure three years from now it will still be the same.all that money and all those people and you can’t do an app. I thought Germans were supposed to do it better.
10-14-2024 this app is officially the worst software I have ever used out of anything I have ever used. It is a disgrace of a company of this size and age and prestige cannot afford to write vacuum cleaning software startup companies can do it better outsource it at this point the stupid robot doesn’t realize where it is on the map, even though it starts in the correct spot on the map that are marked as a no go zone don’t work. It’s an embarrassing shame.
