I have been trying to get into portal but I just see a white screen. No uodates have been made to app yet.

Terrible 2 factor implementation

Terrible 2 factor implementation. It forced me to use ‘their Authenticator app’ (no choice as to which type of 2FA I preferred). The link provided for ‘their Authenticator app’ took me to a commercial Authenticator app. I wasn’t going to pay $30 per year to log into the Milford app when I already had the free Microsoft and Google Authenticator apps installed.
I called the support number who informed me that my existing Authenticators would have worked.
And she was able to switch my preference to an SMS otp. A Passkey option would be great. I suggest talking to Authsignal.

Easy to use

Great app, simple and easy to use. Good dashboard information providing investment overview.

Great app! Easy to login with biometrics or pin. Can see my balance easy on the dashboard when ever I need to

Same Constant issues

The app is forever removing the facial recognition every few log ins. You then go back in to enable function again. A few days later it happens again, only to be told your pin is now incorrect and then all information is lost again. Seems to be a lot of updates for no real changes.

Where’s biometric gone?

Latest version is good except that face id has disappeared. Which is annoying

Great update no issues works smoothly. Only thing I would add is a dark mode

So many issues

Why do we have to download a large update every time you change some copy? Just have it source via a live feed. No biometric security. Account performance takes forever to load, it should be available right when opening the app. Swiping in the hamburger menu reveals a gap on the left side of the menu. Why have a profile icon when you can't change the photo?

Update update update!!!

Way too many updates. You can’t check your progress without ANOTHER SOFTWARE UPDATE! Every time. Come on now.

Constantly in maintenance

Although the app itself is pretty good and gives you the info you need upfront, about 2/5 times I try to open the app it says under maintenance.

Keeps crashing

App crashes when it opens every single time. Straight after password/Face ID is accepted the app crashes. All updated and with an iPhone 13. Haven’t been able to log in for a month

Always crashing, always getting new updates. Drives me nuts.

Needs much improvement

Since one of the more recent updates, I get logged out completely and need to log in with my full username and password i.e. Face ID and/or the PIN doesn’t work. This appears to be common amongst other apps that have Face ID enabled, but it needs to be fixed.

I’ve also had issues with the Tools & Calculators menu item disappearing and reappearing the next time I log in.

The Forecast My Balance calculator (at age 65) is full of bugs. When it actually works I’m given one balance, but if I use the same figures on the Milford website I’m given a balance that is 200K more! I have asked the team which calculator is providing a more accurate forecast balance but I’m still waiting for a reply…

Logging in

Never been able to access my information as the app is stuck with an apparent set up login details. It’s not possible to logout and login using alternative log in details. Very unused friendly.

Well done Milford

App easy to use. Break down between allocations easy to see. Profit loss tax and contributions for other sources are easy to see.

Updates every week

Really frustrating that every time I use the app it needs an update. Can you go to monthly release cycles and put everything in a release. The changes seem so minor

Many bugs, it’s like they don’t use it

I’m one of the first users of Milford app, and it’s obvious that the customer experience isn’t their highest priority. Eg.
1. The app is often under maintenance. Like WTH team, it’s for balances and recent transactions. 24/7 access and switching from a/b servers has been best practice for a decade.
2. There is no customer feedback mechanisms in the app, to actually allow customer feedback to be collected. It’s fine to not use the app yourself, but you need to listen to customers.
3. I have recommend Milford to many people but their app is the weakest link. I often have to kill the app in iOS after “maintenance mode” so it will connect. Presumably it doesn’t check very often.

frequent updates Demi this app unusable .

Expect better communications from team.
Frustrating when frequent updates forces auto updates right in the middle of transactions.
I am seriously considering switching my portfolios
