Great App, but It Could Use a Few Tweaks
I’ve really been enjoying the new MoMo app. The interface is clean, modern, and much easier to use than the previous version. Overall, it’s a significant improvement.
However, I’ve been experiencing an authentication issue. Almost every time I need to verify using an OTP, the app takes me out of the authentication flow, forcing me to start the process again. I end up having to authenticate twice before it finally works which could be frustrating.

I have to login twice every time
With biometric login, immediately I log in, I’m logged back out that very same second and have to login again. It’s frustrating.

Votre nouvelle mise à jour est très réussie. L’application est plus moderne, plus fluide et visuellement plus agréable à utiliser.
En revanche, je trouve qu’elle est un peu moins intuitive, surtout pour les personnes qui ne sont pas habituées à ce type d’application. Il y a beaucoup d’options, ce qui peut rendre la prise en main un peu plus compliquée.
J’ai aussi remarqué qu’il n’est plus possible de retrouver facilement les frais de retrait. Sur l’ancienne version de l’application, on pouvait consulter directement les tarifs en fonction du montant à retirer. Dans la nouvelle version, je n’arrive plus à trouver cette information, alors qu’elle est pourtant très utile pour les utilisateurs.
En résumé, la mise à jour apporte une meilleure fluidité et un design plus moderne, mais il serait appréciable de rendre l’application plus intuitive et de réintégrer l’affichage clair des frais de retrait, comme c’était le cas dans l’ancienne version.

Awful experience.. Everytime you sign in to make a transaction, you immediately get signed out. it’s been like this for weeks. you end up wasting so much time. makes me wonder what the purpose of this app is if you can’t use it.

OTP issue
OTPs does not pop up to enable logins. I have to restart app for that 5 times for OTP to be sent before logging in and sometimes even when the OTP comes and you want to login it take u back to the login interface. The new update also sucks.
Short Verification Time stamp
It is actually good to have an app which literally eases one’s navigation to make certain financial transactions. But I must say on this updated app, the verification time given is too short. The OTP message comes after 5 seconds and by the time you input on the momo app, you’re having less that 13 seconds which is far less time to approve Identity verification. Please, you guys should work on this

The app refuses to open.. after putting password and waiting for the code, it arrives instant as usual but when entering the code it refuses to approve the password thus making it impossible to access your funds

MTN should read rating comments because it will help improve future updates.
My concern is that many travelers from Ghana to other countries face challenges logging into their accounts after changing smartphones. Since they are outside Ghana, roaming services sometimes cannot receive the OTP verification code.
We need an update that allows OTP verification through WhatsApp or email, not only SMS. This will help travelers easily verify and log into their accounts when abroad.

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IPHONES WITH iOS 15 AND LESS
The App is very good but the inability to use it on iPhone 7plus with iOS 15.8.8 (last version for iPhone 7plus) very frustrating. You are allowed to download it but once you open the App, it’s then requests you to update.
Verification problem
The verification times out, what you receive is not a link you can click you have to paste it in a browser but times out useless upgrade
OTP failures
Why without my consent would Mtn want to put my account in this device wallet is beyond sense! The new update for verification is not working and doesn’t give sufficient time to receive a OTP epic failure for when we’re out of Ghana traveling. Fails with ESIM phones. What is 15 seconds to verify with code are you all drinking rum this is Africa

Verification Challenges with Current Update
I have been using this App for a while now with no challenges until recently when I was logged out and had to re-verify. The link for verification expires in 15 seconds but the link even when it’s sent, it will arrive in my text after about 5 minutes or more and I can’t use it.
I believe this is from a recent update of the APP and must be looked into, I have an eSIM and roaming and if this could be the reason then the App should be updated to help the many individuals who would be in the same position. This review is to request for this situation to be looked into.

Favorites renamed
With the recent update, the names on all my favorites have been cleared with the numbers replacing them. Kindly add a button or something to be able to clear all favorites and re-add them or a refresh button that refreshes the list based on the database.
