Trying to charge me?
Please tell me the invoice I got for $199 is a scam? I have never needed to use this app for any reason. I see a PDF copy of an invoice in my inbox, I don’t open because it doesn’t look real. I try to open the app and it kicks me off. App no longer works!!!

Has not worked in months. I do not drive all the time so it took a while for me to see it wasn’t working. I contact Guidepoint and they say to take it to the dealership. That’s fine but I reply within this is a safety and security feature for my vehicle why is there no notification if there isn’t an update in months. No reply. I write the review and it disappears. Wow. Hopefully with pressure the dealership stops forcing this install and they lose some revenue

rep who came out to install this to my vehicle decided to "show me how the app works" and conveniently left a 5 star review in the process. i haven't even had it installed for 20 minutes. no wonder this app has so many 5 stars and 1 stars, the techs make sure to push them through when enabling valet mode - tbc

Trash product
Product has stop working,once issue was realized I contacted guide point for fix the problem. They’re unable to correct issue and then stated I would be eligible for refund. But no refund has arrived, after multiple reassurances from the company representatives. Do not buy a car from JT’S auto land or any dealership that offers Guidepoint GPS. Save yourself a headache

Easy to update vehicle information.
Poor notification system
I have concerns with departure notifications. I live work and I get no notification and when I call for help they asked md to make my geofence bigger. Makes no sense.
Slow and has already failed.
Vehicle purchased last May. Hardware unit has had to be replaced. Dealership no longer uses this service. It works but is very slow. My notifications can be 20 min late, meaning tracking is useless if the car is stolen. That said, customer service at Guidepoint is excellent. Not something I’d buy again.

Map doesn’t update. Shows my last position as if a month ago. Not impressed. Phone does a better job.

Terrible
There are some useful features however the driving behavior and location information is not accurate at all. Normal stopping gets triggered as a hard stop, the hard turns get triggered if you make a u turn or a curve in the road just so many things that are just not accurate or to sensitive based on the vehicle, driving conditions, etc. The location services has shown the vehicle literally 1/2 mile from the location it was parked at.

My car dealership added this tracking system and charged me for next five years.
Guidepoint app is not working well and I contacted them. Manager Pablo tried to fix my issues and his special effort one time replaced the installed device from my car. But issue not resolved yet.
Live location is not accurate, Secondly missing some Trip history ( previous travel history) in the guidepoint app. Many times I noticed this issues and I don’t think they can resolve it. Simply wasting our time . I would like to cancel my package and get back the refund. When I talked to Pablo he told me cannot cancel this tracking system.

App doesn’t work
I’ve had this app that my dealer “included” in the selling price of my truck. It worked for about 6 or 7 weeks and now…NOTHING works! Total waste of money and useless app! It doesn’t live track, locate and the fuel level isn’t even close to accurate. SMH! I’ve called Guidepoint…and they can’t even figure it out. I’ll take it back one last time to the dealer and if not…I’m going to request my money back. This is ridiculous, almost $800 or $900 for this service. I don’t think so!

Live location is working fine
Once the location issue has been resolved by the technical department it’s working fine.
Live location is not accurate
This app is not working properly. Last 3 days I am calling this service provider to resolve my issue but not resolved yet. It’s not showing the accurate location all the time. Some times showing accurate location. Service representative telling me I need to drive 10 more miles unnecessarily to resolve this issue. They will not do any reimbursement for this inactivity.
I am trapped. So avoid this tracking system before joining.
My Toyota app is working great, so I am preferring Toyota app if you are using Toyota cars.

No longer working
For some odd reason this app isn’t tracking my vehicle anymore. Says the last time it was moving was in Oct of last year. I’ve logged off and logged back in and same thing. What’s the deal?
