What's New in My Health Export

3.1.4

August 12, 2026

NEW: Know Where Every Reading Came From If you record the same metric on more than one device — say sleep from both your Apple Watch and a dedicated sleep band — your detailed export used to show every record with no way to tell which device it came from. Now it does. New "Source" Column & Field Detailed (timestamped) exports now include the source of each reading — the device or app that recorded it, exactly as it appears in the Health app (e.g. "Apple Watch", "Hume", or any third-party app). CSV: a new Source column, added at the end of each row. JSON: new source and source_bundle_id values on every record. Perfect for Multi-Device Users This makes it easy to: Tell apart overlapping sleep, heart rate, or weight records from different devices Filter or prioritise one source over another in your own spreadsheet or script Understand exactly where each number in your export originated Safe for Existing Scripts The new Source column is added at the end of each row, so imports and automations that read the existing columns keep working unchanged. Source names are properly quoted in CSV and escaped in JSON, so commas or special characters in a device name never break your file. Where You'll See It The Source appears in the detailed / raw export (the timestamped, per-reading file). Daily summary exports are unchanged. What Changed for You Nothing in your workflow — just export as before and you'll find the new Source information waiting in your detailed file. As always, your health data never leaves your device except when you explicitly export it. Thank You This one came directly from a user who tracks sleep on two devices and asked to tell them apart. Keep the feedback coming!

Excellent developer response

I encountered a significant problem immediately after upgrading to the Pro version, but the developer was able to turn around a fix in a matter of days

Response from developer

I'm so sorry JDRW625 that you have discovered this bug - but thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'm releasing a minor version upgrade tonight which should fix the error. However, if you would like a refund, I'm afraid I can't manage that myself, you'll have to submit a request via the App Store or reportaproblem.apple.com and they will happily return the InApp purchase to your account. I hope you can wait a day or two until the new version is released because I'm pretty sure it will get you up and running - look for version number 3.1.1

Disappointed

App shows as free in the App Store but you can’t actually do anything without paying/upgrading. I wish the app was transparent that this isn’t a free app.

Response from developer

The free tier offers 4 metrics exported over the prior 7 days only. The "pro" upgrade allows you to upload any number of selected metrics over any date period. It isn't quite accurate to say that the free version doesn't work - but I take your point - I'll update the content in the App Store to make this distinction clearer.

Great support and care!

One element did not seem to extract properly for me, but otherwise worked great. The developer replied to my previous less-than-favorable review, and they are legit always working to improve the app! Such a good tool as this should be native functionality!

Response from developer

Sorry to hear that Blood Glucose didn’t extract properly. I’d be happy to investigate it further if you like - or alternatively I’d be more than happy to refund your $2. There’s a process to follow on the reportaproblem.apple.com website that allows you to submit a claim. Sadly this is the only way to refund via the AppStore. If you’d like me to investigate - please send me an email to sam@samgledhill.au

Like it, but possible bug

Just downloaded and playing with it in iOS 26.4.1. For whatever reason, I cannot turn off the Weight metric. It’s not selected but shows on the main page and as a field in any and all exports. There never has been any Weight data in the Health app, so not sure why I can’t turn it off. Appears to be a bug. Otherwise seems to do the trick.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know about this bug. We're investigating it and hope to have a fix ready for when we ship the next version in the next couple of weeks.

Works as expected

This app does exactly what I was looking for: exporting a specific health field with a custom date range in a usable format. I also love there’s no subscription either - just a one-time charge. 👍
