Worst appt and lock ever
Only works for 1 year then it’s time to throw it away. Going to get a third lock and changing brands this time. I’m so done with this lock!
Can’t get in the app
So I got a new iPhone and reinstalled my app I can’t even get past the picture to confirm my identity but my husband who has an android can get in but doesn’t help me when I need to get in with out him.
bluetooth doesn’t connect
everything was working fine for the first couple days then the app stopped connecting to bluetooth so now the app can’t control the lock and none of the codes work. i can still use my fingerprint but that’s the only thing that’s working. the app says there’s a firmware update but won’t install it since the bluetooth doesn’t work anymore.
update: i reached out to the combatant like they say to and have gotten no help at all. i can’t do anything with this lock because bluetooth doesn’t work. this app is absolutely useless. never buy a tru-bolt wifi lock. go with a good brand that actually has their own app that works

Quit working after 6 months
Loved this product and app when it worked, but it quit working after less than 6 months. Tried new batteries and now it won’t even connect to the app

I haven’t had any problems whatsoever it has worked for my Entire family. I’ve sent digital keys to my children & Everything works as it should. I am 100% glad I purchased it

Can’t login
This app will not work with my blinken router so no Wi-Fi for me
WiFi doesn’t connect
I have 2.4 and 5g and none show up. UPDATE THE APP TO SUPPRT 5G. It’s about to be 2025 not 1990

Why doesn’t the system supports 5G. I’ve been unable to connect to WiFi. I overall like the lock against people telling me to purchase Yale or a more reliable brand.

Return this item it’s garbage
No support.
They tell you not to return the product without talking to them, but you can’t talk to anyone. Phone lines are busy. Please leave your name and number and will call back, and they never do. Installed the lock and cannot get it hooked up to the Wi-Fi.
Use it on 13 houses!!!
This app is fantastic. Easy access to 13 different locks, shares keys and admin easily, deletes shared codes when necessary… really top notch and easy to use. Make sure the person you’re trying to share with is set up properly FIRST with app down loaded AND account registered or you get error messages.

If you replace your phone, you can’t re-pair to new phone, making lock worthless
Title says it all! Replaced phone, now unable to configure lock, have to reset lock, can’t reset because I don’t have the master code, the app clears the code!
Works Great!
I’m gonna be a little presumptuous and assume all these 1* reviews are from totally non-technical people and/or people that have unrealistic expectations of this app. Have you ever tried to program an unlock code in one of these deadbolts before the app? Nightmare. This app made it super easy. I can even lock and unlock the door from inside my house. I haven’t tried away from home, but I have zero expectation of that. I just want to program the code easily and this app did exactly that. I may never use it again, who knows. It did what I want. Highly recommend.

Just needed a password reset
I got a new cell phone and needed to login to the my key mobile app and the forgot password link did not recognize my phone number and a new registration says my number is already linked. No link for forgot username. I called Menards where I bought the TruBolt lock to get a phone number. A quick easy password reset is beyond the developer at this moment, waiting three plus hours to make a door lock code in the application. Find a lock that does not use the my key mobile app.

Worst app ever
I got a new phone and tried to log in and it don’t recognize my password. I did the password reset a million times and I still can’t get in. No tech support and no help whatsoever. Never buying a lock that uses this app again. Now I have an Airbnb that has the same code because I can’t change it. NEVER AGAIN

Awful
Not sure if it’s the app or the device but the app unlock button locks the door and lock button unlocks the door. Also when you remove a code the code does not remove. If I could give this zero stars I would. Save the money.
