Medtronic Model 24950

It’s been a way too I help monitor and give peace of mind.

Massive software failure

I originally loved how easy this app was but now it states I need to update but under no circumstance at all will it actually update, making this all useless. No other app on my phone has this flaw. I guess the new version is so secure, few or no patients can actually use the app any longer.

Never a problem

Since receiving my care link-smart and the updated associated software, I’ve been able to use my device without fail. Thanks Medtronic’s.

Needs simple improvements

I sent my transmission in May. It’s now July 1 and I just got the text it was successful. I would also like to see some history data from prior test.

Convenient and simple.

The only things I would like to see would be a way to record symptoms, and a way to see the data it is sending.

License agreement

In the license agreement it states (app prevents copy pasting so this is paraphrased) "IN NO EVENT OR SITUATION WILL MEDTRONIC BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR INTERCEPTION OR COMPROMISE FOR ANY INFORMATION OR RECORD OR OTHER COMMUNICATION PROVIDED IN CONNECTION TO YOUR USE OF THE LICESENSED APPLICATION"

This is basically saying tough nuts if your info gets stolen, intercepted, jammed, compromised, etc. while using the app.

Apple Watch App???

It would be nice to do Pacemaker transmissions on the Apple Watch! It would also help to have push notifications on when the transmission went through as well as push notifications on when my next transmission is do. Also have readings integrated with Apple Health App.

This is a lot of potential here!

Useless App

The transmission device you get with the pacemaker does the same thing. What this doesn’t do is give you any data. Medtronic forces you to see your doctor to get YOUR data. The app is worthless.

Enhancement request

The app serves the purpose of transmitting Pacemaker data to the doctor’s office, however user does not get to see any information of the pacemaker itself . It will be really nice to at least display the battery life of the pacemaker Add a list of prior successful transmissions.

Does nothing

Something is wrong with this app. It shows how to turn on the mo Igor and where to connect to the website. That’s it! What’s the purpose then if this app?? There must be something wrong with it is all I can figure.

What

This is absolutely one I app that I can’t afford to have crashing all the time. One I first launch it works until I hit the play button. After that it just crashes all the time. An app like this should never “NOT” work. Dealing with my health. That’s not cool. How can I send transmissions if the app doesn’t work. Get it together please.

Pacemaker checks

This has always worked well for me.

Thankful ❤️

Very thankful for the app & the reader. Very easy and so convenient! Thank you for the medical technology ❤️.

Good app, needs more functionality

This app and device are convenient though it would be nice to have a place to log symptoms, what I was doing prior to sending transmission, etc - all things my cardiologist asks about but by the time I see him I’ve forgotten. Would be nice to have the ability to send with the transmission or at least keep a log w/in the app.

INCREDIBLE

This has to be the simplest method of communication of critical data to your Dr. that I have had to date. The comments I have read regarding lack of convenience using this device as a tool for medical monitoring are absurd. I think people who are “inconvenienced” having this device should learn about the alternatives to this convenience, such as DEATH.
I had this item installed one week ago and the benefits are already obvious. Our friends had a 33 year old son who passed away exactly one year ago because he encountered lead difficulties from an older unit, and they could not control the problem.
This unit and its accompanying convenience is nothing short of a miracle.

The app doesn’t work since update

Since the last update 3 weeks ago the app doesn’t work, at all. All I can do is open the app and from there, nothing works and the only thing I’m able to do is press a button that used to begin the transmission but now it just shows a symbol for “waiting.” Horrible bummer as my cardio is in Michigan and I just moved to California. Please fix this!

Love this device

The best thing I can say about this device is it is easy to use. It works well with my phone and I no longer have to worry with that slow Fax type device. Keep that great technology coming. Thank you

Needs to update Medtronic Carelink Mobile to iOS 11

You all should’ve been on top of the new iOS. My doc can’t receive my transmission via your app because it hasn’t been updated. Unacceptable.

Love the convenience, HATE the loud alarms that sound from your phone that cannot be quieted

Love the convenience of this app, but what on earth is with the heinous alarm sounds during the reading and to signal the reading is completed? These alarms are not affected by changing the volume on the phone or turning the ringer on or off and are LOUD AND GRATING--highly annoying and embarrassing if you're trying to do this on the run (some of us youngsters with pacemakers are on the road a lot and must resort to doing our testing in semi public spaces).

I understand the need to have the alarms if the handheld device is slipping, and I understand that some people may require these sounds to be louder than normal as they can't hear well, but HOLY COW. Crank it down a notch or three please?

Life changing

Long live the days of lengthy telephonic checks where you need to attach silver bracelets and position the phone over a monitor. This application is slick, simple, and makes the monitoring process incredibly easy and clear.

Great app that does exactly what it needs to do and has literally changed my life. Keep up the awesome work!
