A heartfelt thank you to CHOP
I just want to say a huge thank you to the entire team at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in Chalfont for taking such wonderful care of my seven-year-old son today.
This morning, my son had surgery to remove a cyst from his face, right between his eye and nose, on his cheek. We had been waiting for this surgery and finally it’s done. At first, we didn’t know exactly what it was, so after seeing his dermatologist, we were referred to a specialist in plastic surgery to Dr. Low. After all the examinations, they confirmed that it was a cyst that needed to be removed as it could potentially get bigger.
From the moment we arrived, everyone was absolutely lovely. Starting with the receptionist, who was so sweet and welcoming, and continuing with the whole medical team — every single person made us feel comfortable and reassured.
A very special thank you to Miss Lisa, Miss Chloe and Christina in the recovery room. You were absolutely brilliant and so kind with my son.
And a very special thank you to Dr Low, who performed the surgery. He was incredibly professional, explained everything so clearly, answered all of our questions and, most importantly, took such wonderful care of my son. We are truly grateful.
Thank you so much to Mr Kha, the anaesthetist, for looking after my son so well and helping everything go smoothly.
As a mother, leaving your child to have surgery is never easy. Knowing that your child is in the hands of such caring, professional and compassionate people makes all the difference.

Update to date Documenting
Everything appears pretty streamline except for up to date list of prescriptions , my dr just sent a new medication in on Saturday but I don’t see the one that was sent 3 weeks prior the information appears scrambled.

What is the point of having a billing section when it shows no bills?
Easy, convenient, helpful
Using the MyChop app is super convenient when I have a question about my son’s health but we don’t necessarily need an appointment. The nurses are always so helpful and call me back with any new information I may need. It’s very easy to just log on make appointments, check results, request forms to be filled out, etc..

It helps me speed up my visit with my children. I enjoy being able to do the check in at home before the appointment that way I don’t have to worry it. During the visit am able to focus on my child and play with him while am waiting to be called.

No functionality
I tried to figure out how to add my son and square away a bill. I had to call. No problem getting ahold of billing but trying to get access to my son’s medical records and the phone system was delayed and never got through. Kind of shows where priorities are. Wish I could have just fixed the issue through the app. 90 mins later and I was able to pay but still unable to access needed medical records.

CHOP has always been my number one hospital for both of my children. They consistently provide us with the important information needed to make informed decisions. The staff's hospitality is wonderful; they make you feel comfortable and supported every step of the way, including assistance with medications, insurance issues, and more.

A HUGE PART OF MY LIFE
I have four kids and two that are especially involved with Chop and this app is amazing. I love the messages that I can send back-and-forth to the doctors with ease. I love the communication. I love the appointments scheduling how easy app is to navigate. I just love everything about this app. I have nothing negative to say it is amazing and I’m so glad that it’s offered.

Great staff
They were really helpful and quick. Took us back as soon as e we walked in. The staff was friendly. All of the staff. Doctor shaw made sure I understood everything she’s explained to me by repeating it back to her. Overall it was a decent experience.
Very disappointed
Unable to get a response to just make an appointment with the neurology headache department. Calls go to voicemails, and no one listens to the voicemails! No other contact options given.

I found this pretty easy to use , and very convenient for reaching out if I had any questions.

If you want to know why you can’t get paid it’s because your app doesn’t work.
Can’t get to bill pay function to process my payments. Have tried on multiple occasions.

I love it. It’s easy for me to see my son’s appointments, medications, immunizations, and more. I just wish I could make appointments for specialty visits. Otherwise, it’s a great app and I appreciate it truly.
User friendly app
The MyCHOP app has been incredibly helpful and easy to use. I can quickly see all of my son’s upcoming appointments, check his full medication list, and stay on top of everything without any hassle. Whenever I need to reach out to his care team, I can send a message directly through the app—and even attach pictures when needed. It truly makes managing his care so much easier and gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend for any CHOP family!
