Update Issue

The app was working ok until two days ago after I updated it. Now all of my info is sitting in the pending area and it will not go through and I keep getting errors. I also am not able to use the “contact us” section on the app for the reporting the issue as I am getting errors .

Very Buggy/Unusable

This app is a great idea and comes from a book supposedly written by the app creator, that has some really good ideas and concepts. The app, however, doesn't generate reports. You get error codes instead.

There's also no way to access or download the data. Hence, no workaround. On top of that, about 60 days worth of data just got deleted, going by my "streak" which just reset to 0, despite my using the app daily for about half a year.

You'd think the doctor might spend a fraction of his royalties on getting a proper app made.

Your latest update erased all my streaks. Starting from zero again

Warning.

You are to enter sensitive data such as income and email address to activate. Inappropriate data scraping.

Glitchy

Recorded all info for 15 day baseline and it was unable to upload information - will be moving on to something else. Do appreciate the blog info but the app doesn’t function.

Needs Improvement

Surprised that coming out of the Salk Institute this app would be so archaic and not user friendly. I’m sensitive to nnEMFs yet using this app forces me to connect to the Internet for every activity logged. Oura Apple Garmen and several other tracking devices record and store data and allow the user to log data while not connected to Bluetooth, WiFi or cellular data. This is a non negotiable for me, having to wake up turn on my WiFi and stare at blue light from the screen before I get outside for sunrise? This app would make me more sick!

Good but needs some work

The app is really useful to have an idea about what you eat and when you eat it. However every 2/3rd adding of water and food seems to not go through to the servers. Overall good, but still needs improvements.

Please

Add feature to get informations about sleep, walking or other things from Apple Health

Bug?

I am reading the book and would be very glad to use the app! Unfortunately I cannot sign up, no e-mail is being sent with a registration code when I get to that step.

buggy and design flaws

Aside from the frequent connection/server errors, it is missing the ability to edit and delete logged items. Still in my first 14 days, so perhaps those abilities are being activated later. It is also missing a way to quantify the food/beverage items.

Even with those massive shortcomings, it is still worthwhile logging everything :-)

Why??

If this picks up steps from iOS Health then why can't it read all the other data like exercise that is logged? Having to manually input this stuff is stupid.

Doing too much

This app is just a free way for you guys to collect data with out paying focus groups.

What’s this app for? I came here because of Huberman to track my fasting time.

Why are you asking about my specific foods? There’s no calories tracker next to it?

Sleep: I don’t like the dial. I wake up to input my sleep and it’s for tonight. There’s no option to back chart.

Use apple health more.

My apple health has all my nutrition, activity, and good sleep tracking, my medications and so much more. But I’m only asked to share my step count and that is nice as a minimum.

Now I have to put it all in again for this app. I want the benefit so I eventually will. But I know apple health will let me share it with you if you would just ask. There’s history too.

This is just going to be a slower start than I hoped.

Bugs and errors

This app doesn’t work at all- I entered my data for 15 days straight and then it wiped it all away and started from 0 again. I guess the app is not being kept up to date. Don’t waste your time- love the concept but the app authors should remove the app from the App Store if app is no longer functional!
Half the features don’t work properly including the message support feature! I tried to write them and tell them some features weren’t working but the message would not send. The sleep feature doesn’t save the accurate time you enter which is one of the main reasons to use the app. You also can’t enter multiple sleep sessions for the same day- eg if you had broken sleep or if you had a nap.

Bugs, Built-in Reporting System Broken

In addition to fiddling with the bug I describe below, I also took the time to write the following report from the apps built in “contact us” method. When I tried to submit it, I repeatedly got an error message saying to try again later. In general this app has been frustrating to navigate. As a personal developer myself, it feels thrown together. Here’s the bug description I tired to submit:

“The app has a bug on iPhone were we cannot always log sleep in arrears. Even for correctly entered dates and times, the app incorrectly reports that the start time must be before the end time. We also cannot use the circular slider on the app to input time in arrears, as the app will wildly jump 3-4 days ahead if the start slider passes over 12 AM. Very annoying bug! Also, is there a good reason the text boxes in this application don’t allow for the typical aids, such as automatically starting sentences with capital letters, etc?”

I expected more as I know Dr. Pandas lab behind the research is widely acclaimed.

App is not working properly

When adding food or water, it says network connection problem or unexpected problems. What is this? :( I wanted to use this app

Horrible waste of time

The app acts like it’s operating, but it’s not. All the food entries ended up as pending items even though the message was received that synch was successful. The days counted up to 15 but the Clock and Reports didn’t generate. Instead a message was received that the information wouldn’t be available until the baseline history was entered. The baseline is supposed to be 14 days so that’s a bug. I don’t know how other people have gotten any value from this app. I read the book and thought as much effort went into the software as the book itself. There’s no value to this app at all because you can’t even review your entries for the baseline period. It’s a complete waste of time. You’re better off with a pen and paper.

Unresponsive

Signed up, never got a confirmation email to verify. Doesn’t seem to be managed.

Useless - can’t complete account set up

When I get to enter email stage the app won’t let me complete set up. Very frustrating as I read the book and as looking forward to using the app. Doesn’t look like any meaningful app support available either to report the issue to
