Safety Optional
Be weary! Envera as an “auto entry” policy that jeopardizes residents safety. The gate guard granted “auto entry” to an individual that was NOT on my visitors list, nor did I receive an email or text message informing me of this person’s arrival to my home. There’s NO trace of this individual’s entry on my visitor history in the app. This person isn’t an emergency service personnel or law enforcement person that should have been granted automatic access. The Envera representative that I spoke with confirmed the person’s access through their system. He explained the company’s “auto entry policy” is applied when the gate guard has difficulty confirming an individual’s identity due to possible connection or static issues. The rep validated my concerns regarding safety but stated there was “nothing that can be done to change this.” When I asked for the policy to be provided to me in writing, to present to my association he declined. I escalated the issue further through email and received a “case closed” response.

“Extremely Disappointed with Envera’s Service”
As a resident of Portofino Meadows, my experience with Envera’s service has been extremely disappointing.
Over the past several months, especially on weekends, the gate has repeatedly remained completely open, which is very concerning for residents because this service is supposed to provide proper access control and security for our community.
When the gate is operating, the experience is still far from satisfactory. We have experienced lines of up to 20 minutes because operators do not respond, fail to properly read visitors’ IDs, or take too long to process entries.
We have also had very unpleasant experiences where some operators have laughed at our visitors’ names, which I find extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.
Envera needs to seriously review the quality of service being provided to Portofino Meadows. We pay for an access control service that should be efficient, professional, respectful, and reliable, and unfortunately, that is not the level of service we are currently receiving.
I sincerely hope this review reaches the people who can take action and finally address these ongoing issues.
