What do you expect? It’s a VW
I’m not sure if it’s the app or the car but it consistently shows locked and unlocked at random back-and-forth. It often shows that the door is open. In every case that we’ve checked it, the doors are indeed locked and the door is in fact closed. What the hell is wrong with this thing?
Doesn’t work consistently
Brand new car and the app rarely works.
Fix authentication!
Getting auto logged out and trying to reconnect unexpectedly with low data is a downright horrid experience!
Great tool
Easy way to make sure your doors are locked. And if they are not, you can lock them through the app.
Minimal Functionality
The App is slow to update, often not updating vehicle status for hours, requires frequent logins each week, has limited functionality compared to other EV Apps (can only lock/unlock and turn on HVAC but not change heated seats, open and close windows, etc. ). Otherwise it is easy to use.
It’s an aweful slow app
Only useful feature is the remote AC but even that is slow and doesn’t always work. 8/10 time I’m already at my car before the AC kicks off. You can’t lock doors or anything.
Big Brother
Don’t like the fact, the big brother is watching everything you do… There are some conveniences to having this out starting on a hot day, but don’t like the fact that Track by driving
This app is literally the worst
This app is so high maintenance. I constantly have to uninstall and install again. This app is so basic. The Ford app allows you to set alarms for vehicle start. I have a 2026 and not even capable of that. Along with the app not working on a regular basis the remote start doesn’t even work consistently. If I knew it would be this much of a hassle I would have considered another vehicle.

Unreliable
This app is unreliable unpredictable it disconnects randomly, the communication between it and the vehicle is unreliable. When it’s connected it operates an accurately.
Buggy app
Vehicle coverages page doesn’t open for the last 3 weeks. Remote start works in 50% of the cases even in locations with good coverage

I’m tired of having to re register each and every time I log in.
Climate control not working!
Got the latest update and it worked great for a few days - love the climate control clock!
But now I can't even click the climate control button to turn it on! Please fix it VW - it's going to be 100+ later this week!

I love this App
I love that I can lock my car from anywhere or check and see if it’s lock. I can also remote start. The winter I coming. No more cold cars
Stability
Love the access and convenience of the app. Sometimes the remote controls don’t work. I’m sure this is also a function of cell service stability but it needs to be improved
Could be improved on.
It's a great app, but a couple of features I'd like to see added are the following:
1) Having widgets for both the phone and the watch. I think it'll be a great addition. Because it'll be right at your fingertips. Without needing to go into the app.
2) Being able to control the Climate Control. As the seasons change, so does the outside temp, which affects how the car feels inside too, so you’ll want to adjust it manually every time you get in. Being able to control heated seats and temperature from the app once remote start is activated, without needing to go out to the car, would be a huge improvement.
