Feels free, doesn’t work well
Missing features
The fact my wife can lock and unlock her 2021 Tiguan from the app and I can’t do the same for my 2023 ID.4 is a very curious design decision by vw.
Not a digital native company
The app requires frequent restarts. Slow to start and execute commands. Poor layout. Just a poorly designed as the Id Buzz itself
False alerts
The app sends false alerts about the vehicle. The doors being unlocked when they are indeed locked. The door being open and the door is not open
Would be nice if it worked.
For love or money I cannot get my Buzz to connect so I can use the features promised in this app.

Works only some of the time
Living in Minnesota, it sounds awesome to be able to preheat your car from your phone. Except that the app to a car connection rarely works in the winter time which is very frustrating. My guess is the problem is the car, and not this app. But still it was a big selling point and it doesn’t work half the time when I want it most.

Works Great
Love being able to activate climate control. It’s a little on the slow side and I wish it had a few more options such as lock/unlock but overall nice to have.
Connectivity sucks
The app refreshes the info every blue moon. Terrible solution compared to other car apps

GrapheneOS Support Discontinued
I use multiple operating systems daily. I shouldn’t have to use my iPad when my phone worked until VW stopped supporting GrapheneOS.
Can’t do things that it should
Had Atlas before and was able to have a lot more functionality with remote access
Now I have an electric car ID4 and it has almost no features in the app

Pretty good but no unlock feature??
After one year of ownership of the VW ID four most quirks have been understood, but I do not understand why we cannot unlock from the app. Please consider this upgrade as it would be very important. Thank you, ANDRIS.
Accessibility
The app is good for the most part. But it has its days where it doesn’t respond well.
Location of my vehicle
The app doesn’t give me a current location of my vehicle even after a refresh it just doesn’t work how it’s suppose to
Remote Start never works
The Volkswagen app really needs some attention. The key fob doesn’t work unless you’re really close to the car. And to start your car from the app about 75% of the time it doesn’t work. I really wish Volkswagen would address these issues.
