The mapping function is terrible
It can’t correctly map the space in the middle. It can only map the outline of the floor plan
So many bugs and issues
I do NOT recommend this app or robot at all. The app constantly has glitches, it says the robot cannot connect, I can’t access the map, and no amount of resetting or restarting or troubleshooting is working. Keep in mind I’ve only had this robot vacuum for a month, and there are so many issues already. Not worth the money at all

Latest app update shows issue with carpet editing. Sometimes some clothes that was accidentally on the floor while mapping is added as carpets which i cannot remove. Now i have to choose between avoiding carpet, vacuum carpet, washing carpet or crossing carpet. I cannot delete carpet. Please include delete carpet button.

Was great, now???
Loved this robot and recommended it to many friends over the years, but recent updates have caused issues of it going in circles, not finding home base etc. Trouble shooting did not help. Update - customer service and tech support was amazing and fast. Issue resolved. This bot and company deserves 5 stars for how it performs and its customer service!

Latest app update shows issue with carpet editing. Cannot save carpet edits in iphone. I dont have carpets but floor mats that is misidentified as carpets. Most days i remove the floor mats but some days if I forget, I then go edit the recognised carpet from the map editing option in the app.
But the carpet editing option cannot be done as there is no save button. I think the previous update didn’t have any issue with carpet editing. Please bring back the older settings.

Need improving
I purchased the narwal free x ultra. Overall, I’m happy with the product although there’s a few things that are left to be desired.
First, it needs to mop closer to the edge boards. I can see it mop and it leaves 2 to 3 inches maybe more of a gap around the perimeter in many of the areas.
Second your scan mapping isn’t accurate. It blends multiple rooms together, even though there’s doors. Very hard to edit it afterwards very tedious.
Third when cleaning a room I understand it does the perimeter first, but I would like an option for the vacuum to go both ways around the perimeter and then proceed in the middle
Fourth I would like to see some kind of fluid indicator. So many times I go upstairs and put the vacuum running downstairs only to find out it’s out of water and then I have to go back downstairs and deal with it.
Fifth for the love of God, put the starless mode off by default, please. I almost had an accident the first time I got this machine. Whoever thought that was a good idea should be told it wasn’t. It’s fine to have the option but go with the majority. And the majority of people have basements and stairs, even some steps.
That’s all for now.

Genuinely considering returning my Narwhal Flow 2, why spend $1300 when the app is glitchy. Deleted all of my scheduled cleanings randomly, the app notifies me of “completed” tasks that didn’t happen. I hate it. Absolutely not… probably going to get a roborock instead.

love the hair tangle free and its been very good on that front for about 2 years+ but why does a vac app need me to sign in and if it must why does it auto log me out and not use the apple keychain/passwords! for that it drops to one star from 5, waste of my time trying to log back in, its a damn vac not a bank!

The best thing ever
We’ve had “Eva”, that’s what we call her, for almost 2 months. She’s not quick by any means but does a fantastic job. My 3 dogs always attack and bark at our Dyson and I hoped this would be better, they can’t be bothered with her. All our floors are hardwood, with an area rug in the dining room, running Eva is seamless. Highly recommend.
