no customer service.
I’m not sure if other people have had this issue but it seems like their customer service people just don’t respond or don’t exist. I’ve sent multiple emails to the customer service email they have on their website with absolutely no response. and it’s been a couple weeks since the first email and a few days between the other ones. My account was put on hold for seemingly no reason, as i make my calls, speak the whole time with whoever i’m calling, and am even careful about my language while on the phone. I’ve reached out multiple times about a reason as to why my account is on hold and how we could fix it so i can get back into the app but there’s no response for weeks now. i figured maybe someone would answer my review since i see them responding to reviews on here. maybe if we can figure this mess out i’ll fix my rating.

True to the word company
I’ve been participating with Neon for about 3 weeks now, and I’ve had nothing but, positive experiences. I have good conversations, and when I’m done the call is processed, and I receive a notice that I’ve been paid. I click the link, and send the money to my Pay-Pal. Usually that day it’s sitting in my bank account. I’ve made a significant amount just talking on the phone. I’m thankful for an app that actually does what they say they’ll do. Honestly, I was soooo scared to get this at first bc so many people talk about getting paid on other apps and it’s never worked for me but this is a game changer. I’ve made almost $300 in just a total of 3 days. It’s literally by far the easiest way to make money especially if you can hold a convo and don’t mind talking on the phone.

I have made two cents and that’s it making clear conversations talking like it said following directions everything and it would say processing and then go away that’s ridiculous

I cashed out once and then the second time I tried it said I was tryna cash out 0$ when I had 19 there. Don’t use it. You won’t get all your money It’s whack and they don’t text you the second time after you cash out one time. I would have given it 5+ stars if I would have got my money.

Not receiving payments
So TWICE now I’ve completed money talks and when I go to cash out, I do not receive the text message to send it over to my Venmo. It shows cashed out on Neon, but I never get it! Over $30 hasn’t been sent to me now. I’ve sent support 5 emails since 7/25 about this, I’ve not gotten a single response. I think the idea of this is great, but to not actually get paid is ridiculous. It’s like they get what they want from me, and then I get the shaft. Also, to not get any type of response back when contacting support, is not right. Maybe this review will get me a response. 👎🏼 I’ll gladly write a better review if I can get some type of help on this bc like I said, I think the idea of the app is cool.

I was not expecting this app to actually work most app you make money off of it takes so long to even make 5 dollars and then you can’t cash out until X amount if it’s even legit . once I cashed out after my first call I was in disbelief this is REAL And make money fast some days the money talk come in and some don’t or for me sometimes I don’t get the notification but I try to stay on top of it

Stopped getting notifications
after getting the money talk feature only two times, i stopped getting them all together. i haven’t gotten any notifications from the app in days even though all the notifications are turned on in the app settings and on my phone. i was getting them whe i first got the app and then the day after, i started getting absolutely nothing. please fix your app. it’s making us miss out on money talks times. my friend is also on the app and then only notifications you guys have sent her is that money talks times ended, not that it ever started.

Calls do not work
The calls don’t even connect!!! I’ve gotten 0 money talks. It takes many tries to even get the call to connect.

I’m on day 3 of actively using it made over 100 and cashed it out successfully this app is life changing I’m so grateful for this opportunity
Works nicely
I contacted Neon Support because of an Accessibility issue and they got back to me right away. They also resolved my issue with no problem. So far, I've gotten paid one time and I'm looking forward to meeting more people and the rewards. It's hard for me to get referrals though. Overall, I really like this app a lot.

Payment didn’t go through
I went to deposit my payout and right as it was sending it they said the payment was canceled and that my account was on hold. The app locked me out and said my account didn’t meet guidelines? You’d think they’d tell you that before you make three hours worth of phone calls and waste your time. I’ve emailed them multiple times. There’s no phone number to call. Be weary of this app.

THIS IS MY UPDATE AFTER USING THE APP FOR A WHOLE WEEK. I’ve cashed out $37.70
Which I feel is pretty good pay. I made $21 just on one of those days alone is where I made the majority. If I had been available to access my money talk window every time it came available, I believe I could’ve made $70+ OR MORE quite easily.
If I could give any feedback directly to Neon
It would be this:
NEON,
I would love if we could know when to expect our money talk window. If we could even just be made aware of a general idea. I don’t like not knowing when it could happen but what’s worse is knowing i JUST missed my window. It actually hurts my heart when I keep missing my only opportunity!

I JUST Downloaded the app last night. Talked for about 15 minutes - it took awhile for it to be processed (about 3 hours) but I was SUPER impressed that I made like $5 for like a 15 min call!! I was EVEN More impressed on how fast it cashed out. Ain’t no way this was too easy…. Today, my bf and I were talking via Neon on his way home and we had a 10 minute conversation. No silence, full of genuine enthusiasm & charisma, talked about variety of things (he needed to go to the store and buy a few things before getting home) so we discussed what we’re eatting for dinner and what cat food to buy our cat and what type of food to get her. Nothing staged, fake, not even a brief moment of silence. That call, as SOON as we hung up, was marked “ineligible”! Like wtf! Not only did it not take even a second to even pretend for a moment it was trying to process my eligibility, it just automatically said NOPE! I’m actually upset because I feel like our data just got robbed like we should have gotten paid for that conversation! And if was during both of our money talks time. We both were speaking loud and clearly, both could hear us! Super unfair. I’m giving them one more chance, my boyfriend doesn’t even want too. I will update if I am able too.

Neon is trash
This app isnt good . I tried to cash out and get my money that i’ve earned and when i was going through the process my account got put on hold and for about a week and some days my account been on hold i tried to email them and everything but never got a reply back . or anything and i’m still on hold . this app is trash . wouldn’t recommend it to anyone until i get my money and my account is off of hold .
