Confusing but simple
When I looked over all the categories and the enormous detail of what’s prohibited and what must be declared, as I packed, I kept a careful list of everything chemical, including cosmetics shampoo, lotion, sunscreen, over the counter meds including prescription drugs, supplements and how they are packaged. I really stressed over having everything in order and the bottoms of my hiking shoes spotless. Then when I got to this actual site, there were realizable sole yes/no questions ands I felt as if I’d wasted a lot of time and stress over completing my list. I respect that the government ids wanting to protect its agriculture and all the unique, endemic species from further contamination and look forward to experiencing Nz’s incredible beauty but there’s a bit is a disconnect, unless I missed something completing this form.

Excellent user friendly method of making declaration rather than writing.
Multiple travelers
Incredibly painful to complete an application for family of four. Makes you start almost from scratch for each traveler and answer all the same questions four times. Somehow they managed to make the app more difficult than the paper form it replaced.

Pretty clear and straight forward. Seems to be continuously and incrementally improving since I used the original prototype release. Well done.

Jobs only 2 spaces is nuts if we work in IT ! And day field
Also when we put in the first date the keyboard goes back to alpha characters. yet when we then enter the month numerically it wonderfully stays in numerous so we can fill in the year. Could that first “day” numerical field be set up the same as the second? It’s just a minor hassle but I know you want to be seen as giving a seem less experience to the customers 😀
Couldn’t get my passport to scan. Please give more guidance on the screen eg as even when the bottom two rows were within the
Boundary it didn’t scan and there was no glare.
Otherwise much better than paper 😀
