Almost recovered from OCD

I am almost in remission thanks to this app thank you

Doesn’t even work

Beware! This app literally doesn’t work. Both my son and I downloaded and paid. That’s $12.99 each for us for an app that doesn’t do anything but show a anxiety circle with no ability to do anything. I’ll be calling the credit card company in the morning. Don’t buy! I think it not working increased my anxiety. So terrible.

Disappointed

The app has some really good features however the erp section constantly resets each time you click of it so you cant use it and one of the sections on tracking information is coming soon, i feel it needs a lot more work especially when im paying for the expensive thing itself on a very low budget, please be fixed and upgraded ☹️😢😭

Muss man kaufen...?

Man kann die App kostenlos runterladen, allerdings kann man sie nicht benutzen, ohne dass man 13€ im Monat dafür dann zahlt.

Amzing

Thanks Ali

Needs Updates

Thank you

Can’t test drive the app before deciding to purchase monthly subscription

To preface: I didn’t read the reviews before I went ahead and downloaded.

I really like the idea of this app, but the fact that it will not let you even try the app before you decide to purchase the monthly subscription is upsetting. I need to be able to find something that works for me FIRST before committing to paying $8 monthly. I understand that it may not seem like a significant amount to pay a month, but I don’t even know what I’m paying for when trying to use the app for the first time! There’s no way to see the features of the app because you cannot in any way bypass the screen telling you to purchase a subscription.

After reading the reviews I do understand it from the developers point of view: it’s not cheap to develop an app. However it’s terrible that there’s not even a free trial period before making me commit to giving you $8 every month.

Gonna have to look for another app. Best of luck to everyone trying to find something that works for them.

Great

Ally greymond truly has a great understanding about OCD, if you haven’t seen her videos on YouTube I highly recommend!!!

doesn’t offer much

you pay 10$ a month for a daily wellness tracker and a time tracker that you could easily make up in notes. i was hoping the audiobooks would be free but they cost an extra $27AU. i won’t be buying again. a good idea but i can’t justify the price!

Data missing

Hi, thank you for this app.
However, when you fill in your anxiety levels - the data can just disappear. So it’s impossible to track it. It’s quite a big issue, please fix it.
And the subscription price is too high for Russian App Store. Please lower it.

You have to pay to use this app

Every single one of the features in this app is a “premium” (paid) feature, so it’s incredibly misleading to put it on the App Store as a free app with in-app purchases.

Fraud

Hi. My brother has been suffering from OCD, and I came across your Instagram page and saw this app ad there. I installed it from App Store, and when I opened it, was saying “Start now, then pay 5.99 pounds per month after 7 days”. I had a quick look on the app and its features and then uninstalled it and wanted to recommend it to my brother. Then I cancelled my subscription, and checked my transactions and realised I was charged 5.99 pounds. All these happened just in 10 mins, why did I get charged?! It was written after 7 days, but I got charged soon after I opened the app. I appreciate your efforts on designing this app, but I’m disappointed and I can’t recommend it to anyone, when you’re not committed to your own app policy.

Expensive and very buggy

I think that Ali’s videos have helped me tremendously. However, this app is a bit expensive for what you’re getting. You can’t use the app without subscribing for $7 a month. So I tried it and to me it wasn’t worth it. The app is very buggy and paying $7 a month to track my time when I can do that in my notes app doesn’t make sense.

As I said, Ali’s videos are amazing and I find them helpful, but I have noticed her videos these days focusing too much on the app since the app came out. Pushing too hard for an app that should have a one time fee at most. This has kind of put me off. The idea that this is the same amount of money as a cup of coffee so it should be worth it is a terrible argument. I don’t buy coffee, and I won’t pay $7 for an unnecessary app.

Very useful but can’t edit notes

The app is very useful to track the time and see the progress. The only problem is that if you want to edit the note you took, it deletes the previous one and you can’t access it anymore, you can’t actually edit the note or change the anxiety level while keeping the same note. Please fix this. Other than that, love the app!

A must have if you are recovering from OCD

Thanks to the app you can truly make progress, and start making progress until the finish line of recovery and not let your OCD be chronic. It has a year/month overview that shows you your level of anxiety including a note part for each day.
There are also books, ocd ressources, tests, quotes etc

No Benefit Without $$

This app is totally useless unless you buy their $7 a month subscription. Most apps will give you some free features and if you want premium then you can go premium for additional features. Not this app. It does nothing without a paid service. The author will tell you how good it is but never tell you about the subscription you have to pay. It is also misleading in advertising. It says “In app purchases” but the whole app must be subscribed to with a monthly fee to use. I am very disappointed in the developer with this because the author is a good OCD Coach, but her app is useless without $$.

The developer of the OCD app contacted me after my above review was posted. Their response was that it is in fact very expensive to develop an app and that an $8 subscription is the cost of coffee and a sandwich. I agree, but my point is that it isn’t just a one time purchase of a cup of coffee rather it is monthly purchase that does add up! The issue I have is that no matter how good the app may be, you can’t even try it out without paying for and committing to a paid subscription. Give us a little something for free or a free month trial that you can cancel or keep depending on the experience.

The other big issue I have is that the developer is still being disingenuous with me by simply asking me to update my review based on their costs to develop the app. I don’t care if it costs $100 a month, I just need to be able to test drive it prior to purchase.

Response from developer

Thank you for your comment. It is an unbelievably expensive process to make an app. The subscription is about $8 which is a price of a coffee and maybe a sandwich. However for only $8 this app will help you stay accountable and actually finish your recovery OCD recovery.
