Frustrating at best

Most of the time the app refuses to attach to the internet; thereby, glucose readings don’t always translate over to the app, photos of (and sometimes descriptions of) meals won’t save (despite numerous tries).

Also, it is frustrating that it seems that occasionally when I fill prescriptions, the app notifies me that I have new prescriptions and asks me to update my list. They’re not new, I just refilled them. In defense of the app, it does have the option to not add the prescription with the choice “Already taking”. Problem is, the app still wants you to delete a prescription from your list in order to not add the “new” prescription.

If I didn’t have to use this meter and app in order to get my supplies through my insurance, I would have deleted it a long time ago. I may still scrap it.

UPDATE:

Recently this app was transitioning to a new app. I was redirected to Verilyme. I signed up only to find that I was redirected to the wrong app. Apparently I am now being told that I should have been redirected to Lightpath. Not that huge a deal; however, now Verilyme has my medical records. hopefully I can get those records deleted.

I was offered the chance to be connected with the correct app reps; however, at this point, they can all go away. I don’t trust any of it.

Service & app are both so-so

So far the medical services provided are so-so. I’m not overly impressed but it’s not the worst. The app however is very bad. It’s a little hard to navigate but the worst part is that almost every day I get a pop-up request from the app to access to Bluetooth - even on days I haven’t used the app. That’s really intrusive and seems suspicious.

Skip this one

This app doesn’t integrate with any other software so it’s useless. The interface is not good and the logs aren’t helpful. The only good thing is the free test strips that I receive through my benefits.

HEALTHKIT INTEGRATION PLEASE

I am -so- sick of having to use another application to track my glucose levels to capture & get a holistic health overview from Apple Health.

Sadly -the- best, OneDrop, ended service 11/30/24 & I’m trying to scramble to find a replacement that captures glucose, weight, and blood pressure.

I can see the ability to do all 3 in the app but w/o ability to connect to Apple Health I need to repeat everything in 1 or 2 other apps. The inability to connect my blood pressure device (despite it being the same model listed in the app) is also annoying.

I will also add that having a library of foods or ability to scan bar codes would be super awesome.

I do know this is related to an employer provided benefit but there’s so much that could be done to improve things on a basic level regardless of the employer.

Needs an update

App hasn’t worked correctly in months. None of the features work on my phone.

One Big Thing

This is an easy 5-Star if only the app would synch glucose readings to Apple HealthKit. Very cumbersome to manually type in that data to HealthKit. Otherwise, fantastic app.

App is good if you have a coach

App is good if you have a coach, but you still need to go through the Athena app to set up appointments or message your care team or get supplies.

The most important info is buried and not well displayed

I want to see my numbers and that is burried under three levels.

When I meter, I want to see my number on the main page not somewhere under the top layers. The dispaly of those numbers is also too small and weekly trend chart not clear. Way to my real estate is wasted in white space in general. The UI needs a complete redesign to make is concise and user friendly.

Onduo

Not working for the last 2 months. Not able to logged or to contact team support to get advice or order supplies. I have reached out to support so so many times. I’ve had issues before, but none that were not able to be fixed. Thus is bad!!

Zero tech support

I had to reset the settings on my phone and the app kept looping back to the login screen. Tech support kept telling me I was signed in when I wasn’t and they had no developer capabilities to remove the so called device I was signed in to. Missed an appointment because of their incompetence.

DON’T DO IT

This service is garbage unless you are new to your condition and need a team of people to boss you around.
Once you setup an account, good luck deactivating it.
Look who will own your information. Are you comfortable with Google in on your health info?

Onduo

No success adding address after many many attempts. Support provided no answers

Some good, some not so good

No issues with the app crashing, but it will not share blood glucose data to health app. Also the medication time is flaky.

Latest update screws up entries by not defaulting to current time

What’s worse is that instead of reversing or communicating about the issue , they are silent. Can’t log dinner if I eat after 6 because it thinks it’s the next day and won’t let me manually adjust the time to a prior day.

Really dissatisfied.

Problems Lately

I have been using this app for a while and it has always been great. Logging my food and my medication‘s with reminders , and I love the insights. What has been frustrating for me is the time doesn’t work anymore when logging my medication or food. If I take my medication at 9:30 at night, it forces me to log my medication at 2 AM in the morning, it does have a dial where you can change the times but it has been graying it out and forcing me to log when it wants me to log. So the team or my doctors must think I’m up at 2 AM taking my medication or eating something. Overall, it is my most used app but that is very frustrating. It wasn’t always like that.

App update ruined the ease of use.

I did an update to the app about 3 weeks ago and now it’s a mess. Time is 5 hours off whenever I log anything. If I forget to correct the time my logs are out of sync. Support called me 2 weeks ago and said they will have a fix in a week. It’s been 3.
I’m ready to go through my insurance and just get a meter and supplies through them instead. I’ll wait 1 more week. I will also repudiate my review. Dreyibcdgjkhfd

Latest review doesn’t allow me to log in current time

Latest update as of Nov 2022: time is perpetually 4:48 am, rending logged events worthless

Medications removed

I am NOT happier that when you got my pharmacy file from my insurance company that my list of meds that I entered over 3 months ago were removed. The app is asking me to re-enter information that I had in there back in August. Not customer focused. Your IT area could have easily developed a query that would do the reconciliation.

Waste of my time. I refuse to re- enter my meds

Constant connection issues

I constantly have connection issues with both the glucose & blood pressure monitor. About every other day I have to walk down the street to get a signal strong enough to transmit the data readings. Now sure what I’ll do if we get a heavy snow….
