Frustrating at best
Most of the time the app refuses to attach to the internet; thereby, glucose readings don’t always translate over to the app, photos of (and sometimes descriptions of) meals won’t save (despite numerous tries).
Also, it is frustrating that it seems that occasionally when I fill prescriptions, the app notifies me that I have new prescriptions and asks me to update my list. They’re not new, I just refilled them. In defense of the app, it does have the option to not add the prescription with the choice “Already taking”. Problem is, the app still wants you to delete a prescription from your list in order to not add the “new” prescription.
If I didn’t have to use this meter and app in order to get my supplies through my insurance, I would have deleted it a long time ago. I may still scrap it.
UPDATE:
Recently this app was transitioning to a new app. I was redirected to Verilyme. I signed up only to find that I was redirected to the wrong app. Apparently I am now being told that I should have been redirected to Lightpath. Not that huge a deal; however, now Verilyme has my medical records. hopefully I can get those records deleted.
I was offered the chance to be connected with the correct app reps; however, at this point, they can all go away. I don’t trust any of it.

Service & app are both so-so
So far the medical services provided are so-so. I’m not overly impressed but it’s not the worst. The app however is very bad. It’s a little hard to navigate but the worst part is that almost every day I get a pop-up request from the app to access to Bluetooth - even on days I haven’t used the app. That’s really intrusive and seems suspicious.

This app doesn’t integrate with any other software so it’s useless. The interface is not good and the logs aren’t helpful. The only good thing is the free test strips that I receive through my benefits.
HEALTHKIT INTEGRATION PLEASE
I am -so- sick of having to use another application to track my glucose levels to capture & get a holistic health overview from Apple Health.
Sadly -the- best, OneDrop, ended service 11/30/24 & I’m trying to scramble to find a replacement that captures glucose, weight, and blood pressure.
I can see the ability to do all 3 in the app but w/o ability to connect to Apple Health I need to repeat everything in 1 or 2 other apps. The inability to connect my blood pressure device (despite it being the same model listed in the app) is also annoying.
I will also add that having a library of foods or ability to scan bar codes would be super awesome.
I do know this is related to an employer provided benefit but there’s so much that could be done to improve things on a basic level regardless of the employer.
