Careful before sign in
We have used OpenTable since we opened our restaurant. When business became slow, I asked them to downgrade our plan. They did, but they never told me it would automatically renew into a new one year contract. I clearly asked for a month to month plan.
Last month, I called to cancel the service. They told me I had signed a one year contract and would have to pay about $900 to cancel early.
They also kept pushing us to buy ads, saying we would get more customers. On top of the monthly subscription fee, they charge about $5 for customers who come through ads and about $1 for other reservations. The monthly fees and extra charges add up quickly. In my opinion, it is too expensive for a small restaurant.

Not working there a days when it’s blank out, I have reservations but it’s showing 0 as nr. It was fine 4-5 days back; the update did not fix it.

I cannot open the app for more than half a second. For some reason it just keeps crashing and won’t let me view my restaurants seatings.

I use this app to manage my restaurant, and since downloading it is just full of glitches and now keeps force closing every time I open it so I can’t even get in. I submitted a ticket and after some correspondence back-and-forth, and a request for a screenshot, which I sent, I haven’t heard back in a week. Useless app. Likely going to be switching our platform for the restaurant because of this.

Horrible update!

Until recently the app has been great and not given me any issues. But just last week the app won’t open on my phone. I have updated the app and uninstalled and reinstalled it and it still will not open for me. As a restaurant manager having this working on my phone is key.
