Misleading Refund Policy and Poor Product Quality

Absolutely disappointing experience with Overlay Clothing.

I placed my first order for a shirt, and the quality was far below expectations — completely unjustified for the price charged. When I requested a return, I was forced into an unfair policy: either accept a ₹100 deduction or take a full refund as a gift card. This is not customer-friendly, it’s coercive.

I chose the gift card and gave the brand another chance. I then ordered a T-shirt worth around ₹1200 (₹999 gift card + ₹200 cash), and again received a low-quality product. There is a clear mismatch between pricing and product quality — you are paying premium prices for substandard items.

When I returned the second product, the same condition was applied again. This time I accepted the ₹100 deduction expecting a proper refund. However, even after this, the remaining amount was not correctly refunded.

This clearly indicates:
 • Lack of transparency in refund policies
 • Manipulative wording to confuse customers
 • Unfair deduction practices

Additionally:
 • Poor user interface
 • Misleading promotional ads
 • Discount coupons not working as advertised

Overall, this brand appears to prioritize trapping customer money over delivering quality or service. Not recommended.

Tomorrow is my birthday i have ordered this jacket on 17 jan and the delivery date was on 20 jan on 19 jan i got msg that my order is dispatched but till now there is no response and I haven’t received my order now what should i do there is no way to contact them

Refund not received

I ordered an leather jacket and returned it as the fit was not satisfactory but I didn’t received the refund yet it’s been 1.5 months i tried mailing as well but didn’t receive any reply on that

Worst Experience with Overlays – Fake & Misleading

I am giving 1 star, although honestly I wanted to give 0.5.

I felt completely cheated after shopping with Overlays. Their customer support is the worst I have ever experienced 😡. They provide a support phone number, but it feels dummy—no response even after trying multiple times 😣.

They only share an email ID, but you never receive any reply to emails. The order tracking system is terrible. I placed my order 10 days ago, and till now there is no update, no delivery date, nothing.

It genuinely feels like my money is lost. I tried reaching out multiple times, but there was no response and no hope at all.

I do not recommend this app to anyone.

Fraud App and company

They are doing a fraud not full full your order on time and no one in customer care to talk and no one replies on WhatsApp when you return your product you will face any problems.

Worst service

My order is delayed, no one is informing for that. When i reached to customer service on WhatsApp app no is replying my text. Very well then if you don’t know how to do business you better stop ur dirty bussiness.

App gets stuck in the payment page

If the user edits the address in the payment page and navigate back to the home page and again go to the payment page then the payment page just gets stuck
Unable to pay even after relaunching the app getting the payment page stucks

Worst customer service

I had ordered a jacket at 5 dec , before while ordering it was showing it will be delivered by 12 dec and when I checked at 12 dec it was showing 17 dec , I had ordered this jacket because I was going to Ooty , so because of them , I had to buy one more jacket for no reason, and when I had received the order , there is no return option or cancellation option in this app , I had worst experience with this never use this app or website called overlays , their customer support is 0 because I had mailed them , when will I receive my for many times , but they don’t even bother to reply back

Scam

Absolute scam. I ordered my hoodie in mid November still the order hasn’t shipped whenever I try contacting their customer service they just seen zone me both at mail and WhatsApp service still no reply for all the concerns I raised never order form this brand.

Return issue

Worst experience from overlays team no return option in app and if you have to return first send email and after doing all of that no reply from overlays team and i purchased from this site because of techburner (shlok bhai) and i am very disappointed from this

Cheat peoples

total is scammed application . I ordered my jacket now. 9 days gone jacket is not shipped yet. They told that this is pre-order.
there is no notification that that is pre order, and now I am unable to cancel the order, and there is no cancel option after placing the order with this app, after the buying you cannot return or exchange easily

I ordered an jacket just because they said your order will be delivered on Saturday and its been 4 days since i ordered the items even order is not dispatched yet. I am trying to cancel it and wanna order some other product so I sent an email to their team but not getting response.

Worst website

I ordered a jacket then i tried to cancel it and they literally disappeared. No customer care, only a useless WhatsApp number where no one replies. Emails? Also ignored.
These people are just money-hungry scammers fooling customers. Pathetic, rude, and totally untrustworthy.
Save your money — NEVER order from this trash website. Now i asked for return and still no reply such a unprofessional people

Worst Customer Service and No Cancellation Policy

I ordered a jacket from them, and it’s been 8 days — still not dispatched! Their customer service is completely unhelpful, and they don’t have any proper cancellationi policy. I am not even at the address I ordered it for, but they refuse to cancel or support in any way. Very disappointed with this kind of after-purchase service. Would not recommend ordering from them at all!

App buggy as hell

Misleading titles for discount coupons. Even after adding the number of items in the cart still the app says could not apply the coupon. Also the website claims to give a freebie on shopping 3 or more items, the cost freebie gets added to the total cost of the order and does not gets subtracted from the total amount. These bugs are basic tests that needs to done out by the app and website development team. Utterly disappointed with the experience.

Order never delivered

I placed my order for a jacket and after 12 days or waiting the status says “in process” and now i have to cancel the order but theres no option for doing it, wrote and email to them but no reply. It was my first order and now never ordering from here again

Worst App and management

Ordered 2 products using the app and it took 4 days to dispatch the order and while contacting to the support team about the order there was no response. Later thought of cancellation but there isn’t a cancellation option and asked the cancel the order through WhatsApp support they said that the order was dispatched so it cannot be cancelled. But in the order history it was never dispatched till today and it’s been like 6days now.
