You'll get trapped in garages
Booked covered parking at Denver airport. The QR code worked on entry and then threw “Invalid Scan. Not in system or active.” on the way out. The lot staff had never heard of ParkWhiz and couldn’t find my pass by pass ID, plate, or anything else. No human on the support line. The chat bot’s answer was to pay the lot again and file for a refund.
So I paid $92.40 on top of the $60 I’d already given ParkWhiz, just to get my car out. Now I’m chasing a reimbursement for a service I already paid for.
An app that sells you a pass the lot can’t verify isn’t saving you anything. It’s a coin flip with your car on the other side of the gate.

Nightmare
Bait & Switch alert. You will pay for one thing and receive another. A different lot. Wrong location. You. Will. Be. Screwed. ZERO customer support.
Don’t Bother
The discounts are generally minimal over just parking without using ParkWhiz, the pre-payment is honored by the parking operator only about 50% of the time and it takes 1.5 months to get a refund. Don’t waste your time or money.

Can’t log into app
Horrible app. I have never been able to log into the app. AI chat service is no help and provides the wrong solution. This app is useless. The only way to access my ticket(s) is to log into the website. Please fix your bug. What’s the point in having the app when consumers cannot use it?
DO NOT USE THIS APP
They do not make it clear on where to find the parking spot once you pay. If you go to the wrong spot and end up getting charged twice what you paid ParkWhiz, their customer service cannot help you rectify the price discrepancy. Their customer service is fraudulent.

Worked great first time
I just used the ParkWhiz app for the first time, for an afternoon Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game.
The last time I had tickets to an afternoon Pirates game I had to park in the Strip District, because I couldn’t find any available parking in town. I used the ParkWhiz app to prepay and reserve parking in the Gateway Center Garage, an easy walk to PNC Park. It worked great!
Update: The second time I tried to use the app, it didn’t work quite as well. It had the wrong start time for the event I was attending, so I didn’t use it for fear I would not be able to enter the parking garage when I needed to.

Can’t find the parking lot
This app couldn’t find the parking lot I was sitting in. You had to scan the code that’s in the parking lot.
Beware the Rules
I used to really like the app. Worked like a charm but beware, if you enter the place you parked earlier than your arrival time (less than 10 minutes in my case) you will be charged the extra time at whatever the regular fees are for that lot even if you leave the lot hours before your departure time.
Customers service is no help and will not refund you the difference. Also, customer service is a generous use of the word service. I’d avoid this app if you can find an alternative.

Worst Garbage App & Company
Rates are more expensive than if you paid cash same day as event and they offer zero customer service. My car got towed out of a ParkWhiz lot, They basically laughed at me and said too bad so sad. Park piss would be a more appropriate name. They also pay for positive app referrals.

Scam Alert, don’t download or use this app. Paid $69 for a parking spot….rude and aggressive worker said “too bad” they overbooked. Happened to several cars just before us….extremely inconvenient, everyone late for the show. No easy way to get a refund. How is this even on the Apple App Store?

Poor
I am bound to give it a one star because there isn’t anything lower. It’s an absolute waste. It’s mandatory through work which is why a lot of us have to put up with this. The app never works. You are then asked to book the parking through website, and then that’s what is to reflect on the app.
I even emailed with someone from the tech support, and they tried, but to absolutely no avail.
It’s a poorly developed app with a lot of open issues. Poorly tested.
If you have other options please consider them before this one.

No longer possible to login
After trying yo login with Apple Account, app requests phone number for code and then app says there is a server error.
Garbage App that Over Charges for Parkinf
Absolutely garbage!
The money has been stolen.
I booked a parking spot in advance via the app, but upon arrival, an attendant told me they couldn't accommodate a oversize vehicle and refused me entry. I subsequently contacted the app's support team, but no one ever responded—neither to my phone calls nor my emails; I was completely ignored.
Limited and terrible support
I seem to have issues with this app more so than SpotHero. There’s no option to extend your time limit like SpotHero and this rain. This difficult situations that I had to pay twice when I finally got around to asking for a refund they said it was over the 14 day. And they wouldn’t refund kind of disappointed and will not use this app again.

Fraud and taking money
I was charged three separate times, I have evidence I was charged three times and these guys tried to say I’m making up secret transactions. Guy over the phone was super unprofessional mentioned that even though I had times stamps and evidence of each charge and they still said I was only charged once. This is ridiculous. After I this I’m completely shutting down my account first time using this app and it was a horrible experience. Never again
