This app sucks. Randomly logs me out on a regular basis and this time deleted my car’s license plate and won’t let me add it back because of a “server error.” Low-budget, trash interface and they do nothing to improve anything.

I booked parking through this app in several different cities, but it failed every time. As a result, I had to pay for parking twice on multiple occasions. I wouldn't recommend it.
Poor user experience
Used in Los Angeles for World Cup and was give conflicting directions. Couldn’t get a refund so ended up paying twice for parking. Will not use service again. Their business lacks adequate customer service.

I just used the ParkWhiz app for the first time, for an afternoon Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game.
The last time I had tickets to an afternoon Pirates game I had to park in the Strip District, because I couldn’t find any available parking in town. I used the ParkWhiz app to prepay and reserve parking in the Gateway Center Garage, an easy walk to PNC Park. It worked great!

Got screwed; no help
ParkWhiz told me to show my parking pass to the garage attendant after parking. But there was no attendant present - only a security guard who said he could do nothing and that everything was automated. I tried to call the ParkWhiz help line, but I could not get through. So, I left, trusting that ParkWhiz would take care of things. Big mistake. I came back four hours later, picked up the car and drove off, still having seen no sign of an attendant or any way to verify that all was well. A month later, I got a $100 bill from the garage owners threatening to boot or tow my car if I didn’t pay up. I contacted ParkWhiz but could raise only an AI chatbot that kept telling me ParkWhiz was just a third party vendor and that I would have to deal directly with the garage. The garage, of course, has been wholly unresponsive. There are other parking brokers out there. I suggest you use one of them instead of trusting this company.

Nightmare
I purchased the parking pass for what the app alleged was a 24 hour public lot. upon arrival the attendant refused to open the gate to the lot, he stated the lot was exclusively for monthly clients. The app does not allow you to request a refund, you must email.
Scam
They let Me book a parking spot but didn’t check that the parking lot was already completely full. Couldn’t park. Ended up showing late. Wasted gas. I tried to contact them through phone and app for a refund but they only let you speak to a simple, unhelpful bot. I had to do a charge back through my bank.

I purchased a parking spot for a July 4th event, drove 1 hr to the event, parking attendant said parking is full despite me paying for my parking spot ahead in parkwhiz. Customer support won’t help with refund. I had to submit a word form for refund. Still waiting on refund.
ParkWhiz has gone to dump
No customer support anymore why even bother they used to be great everyone spending on ai but no one to reach out to when there’s issues.
Scam app
The parking lot I reserved was full and there was no attendant. There's no easy way to report this in the app to get a refund. Stay away from this garbage
Charges twice upon exit
ParkWhiz works with garages that have broken app readers. When you exit they charge you twice what you agreed to and ParkWhiz doesn’t realize this is fraud
Codes didn’t work
Used the app for the first time to book a parking garage. The instructions were clearly marked with a phot of the entrance including a matching address easily found by Google Maps. Upon entering, the code did not work. When I requested help from the garage, they indicated that the address did not match their parking garage and I was forced to pay on the spot. When attempting to collect a refund from ParkWhiz I have not received a response via the refund request on the app, nor through email request. Won’t be using this again.

ParkWhiz will not refund me for a reservation that I was denied entry by the garage
I reserved a parking spot in a New York City garage using this app. I prepaid the parking and when I arrived at the garage, the attendant denied my entry because they said the lot was full. Since I arrived a few minutes past my reservation time I was unable to cancel and obtain a refund. ParkWhiz is saying that the garage had reserved a spot for me and I was not entitled to a refund, which is not true. I had to park at another garage and have provided Park Whiz evidence of the other parking payment, and yet they still will not refund me for a spot that I was not able to use. I will never use this application again, parking garages don’t always honor Park Whiz reservations.

Mutiple emails 1 phone number
This app has caused me excessive stress. Because I have multiple emails, but only one cell phone because my Google account happened to be logged into one of my other email account accounts when I purchased my parking I cannot view my parking ticket only through my email, but not through the app. When I tried to login with that email. I use my phone number, but it does not allow because it’s assigned to a different email. This is ridiculous. Of course it will accept payment, but not allow me to view my parking pass in the app.

QR Code didn’t work, still haven’t got a refund.
The parking garage wouldn’t accept the QR code on the app. So I had to pay for parking twice and they still haven’t given me a refund
Refund issue
This app had no issues with refunds in the past. I had a booking at a garage recently that was full so I had to buy another spot using the app. I requested a fund 2 times and have not heard back. It has been over a month. I am now using Spot Hero.
Customer Support is excellent.
I primarily use Parkwiz in Detroit for the last 4 years. Yes as with any App it occasionally has an issue. Like 3 in 4+ years. Each time I call support and they are courteous and just solve the issue. Not once have they failed. Great company to work with.
Wasted money
Had to pay twice. Chat gave me the wrong information and no refund even with a screenshot of the chat. Prepaid for my car and my husband’s car (we had to bring 2 kids at different times). The QR code didn’t work. I pulled over and asked the parkwhiz chat what to do. It said take a ticket and park. When you exit, push the help button on the kiosk and read your parkwhiz code to the person and they will let you out without having to pay again. Well, the person said we had to pay full price. $9 for each car in parkwhiz plus $24 each car at the kiosk. Filled out the form for refund/reimbursement 2 weeks ago and have gotten no response

Doesn’t work
I do see high rating for this app which implies it’s working flawlessly for others. Sadly for me, it doesn’t. The one parking lot where I need to park for my work always shows a full, while the online booking always gets done. Has been a frustrating experience.
